Wow. Let's get them out, please. Would you both come out, please? All of us? Would you come out? All of you. What if I don't want to? Chef Ramsay, nice to meet you. Likewise. Good to see you, too. Wow. Uh so, I'm lost for words. What feedback did you get throughout my lunch? I didn't say anything throughout the a word. Nothing at all? Not yet. Course by course? You didn't even talk to them. No.

Why not? I figured that was what you were going to do when we were done. I was hoping at least you were going to say something to them so they can up their game, no? I actually expected you to say something and I thought, well, should I ask or I kept thinking, okay, it must be okay. I haven't heard any comments. Don't you want the truth? Oh, absolutely. Did you know the owners hate your dishes? No. You don't know the owners hate your food.

No, I did not know that. You've got no idea that Didi can't stand the curry? No, I never knew that. I feel like people have been lying to me. Dina, I don't blame her. Let me I'm going to be frank. The river was overcooked. It looked like we'd opened up the bottom of the dishwasher and that plug was blocked with bits of floating grease. You may find it funny, but you're not a chef. you just described it. arts. No, I'm not trying to laugh about the river. No, no, but [__] hell.

Look where we sat, though. If you phoned me on my telephone in the car and asked me what do you think I'm going to be having, I would have never mentioned those dishes. You did nothing to blow me away. I'm trying to use the ingredients that David asked me to use. A lot of it is cost, so I was tied to that. Oh, you're the sous chef. Is there any synergy in what you're doing? No. You're just doing it to survive. No one's thinking long-term.

It's stifling the business. I'm amazed you're still open. Zack, I don't know if you've got one foot in, one foot out. You shouldn't be here. Yeah, I've not been super invested, that's for sure. Get the [__] out of here. Who's maintaining standards here? He is. I cannot believe what you just done in there. I really enjoy it. You can't enjoy that. god I do. That's I must be like cuckoo in the head or something. Well, you need help.

Maybe. He does. You need to wake up. I think we can do this. I know we can do Give it. Not just you and you. I want it to be you and I because you so don't listen to me most of the time. Like when I tell you, "It's time to come home, Jonathan. It's time to [__] come to bed." And you just say, "Fuck you." Well, you know, [__] you now. [__] you, Jonathan. Oh, yeah. I love you so much and you're such a great guy, but you suck as a business partner. You really suck. Thanks. Do you want to recreate this? Do you get divorced? I don't want to get divorced. Do you want to get divorced?

No, I don't want to get divorced. Why has it always been your way? I guess I've asked for it to be more than me. Apparently, I don't. I'm as stupid as you think I am, if not worse. Thank god. Let's go in the back room. [__] you. Okay, give me a drink. I couldn't get this down fast enough. That looks pretty good. All right. It's going to be okay. I miss her being on the other side. You appreciate it. Uh right. we've had ups and downs, but tonight is a prime example of how good and how profitable this business can be.

Customers loving the food, they love the decor. I'm leaving with all the tools to get this place back to where you want it to go. I do want to ask you one thing. Sure. Is there anything that's happened this week that you're not happy with? Yes, I had expected the Blumen Zimmer to be done, not the Konig, but I was it was the room I didn't expect. And the room that we've done is amazing. has problems. Can I just tell you something really important? This is not a makeover show. I know that. Yeah. But you're complaining about I wasn't saying I didn't love that room.

It'd be a great shame for you to sound ungrateful. Oh, I'm not ungrateful. I am just so shocked. The new management system to Dave, you've got no idea what's going wrong if you think that I'm being ungrateful cuz I'm really not. It sounds like that. No. Not at all. I can't come in and wave a magic wand and transform 15 bedrooms and put a brand new kitchen. You now know what needs to happen. I do. But I need to tell you something that you're not going to like. I arranged for a new stove You did? to come. And then when I got the engineer to come and survey the place, Yeah. uh unfortunately he had to leave Yeah.

because he was going to shut the place down. As there's practices that are taking place in there that aren't appropriate. You're saying the gas systems are The whole setup underneath there, nothing's been changed in 13 years. And it's on the verge of running illegally. Okay. Listen, I came here to help. But you need to help yourselves and you need to dig deep and stick together. Okay? Thank you.

Good luck. Okay. Thank you. Good luck. Okay. Good night. Thank you. Miss Karen, this is your business. This is your hotel, not your junk shop. Mhm. Can you get the team out from the kitchen? I'd like to have a quick word with you all in the terrace. Good luck with that stuff. Yeah? Uh Miss Karen, will you meet the team on the terrace? 1 2 3 4 5 6 bags. I want to check the things for bugs as well. I'm in shock. Are you joining us, Miss Karen, or are you still writing labels?

No, I'm not writing labels. No, let's go. I arrive, the facade of the outside looks beautiful. I walk through the door and it's just like a cluster of [__] Crap everywhere. Moldy bread in the reception, freaky dolls. Up to the bedrooms, that's like just hideous. Wardrobes packed with clothes from 30 years ago. And I had to ask Miss Karen to get rid of the padlock so I can open up the wardrobe and put my clothes in there. Honestly, the place is just ridden with this is like a Hoarders Anonymous. Obviously, I needed a place to put my clothes and so that was where I put them.

You can't just hive an off a wardrobe cuz it's full of your crap. Like I said, I've um it's just a storage area. No, but it's not a storage area. It's like your fridge downstairs. This place is plagued with junk on top of junk. Freezers overbearing, overfull. And as for the disgusting way that the fridge is kept with a moldy salad. There's salad that's festered and it's like it's almost sort of disintegrating in the center. Rotten. Can I just quickly go on the size of the menu? It's too big. The kitchen's about as big as my wardrobe. It's too It's But why are you telling me that when the owner's standing next to you?

I told her that, but we have told her. She won't listen. Mac and cheese all separated. Every mouthful is full of grease cuz it was so cooked in the microwave. And that's the way we do it. People say that we've got the best food in town and the freshest. Stop there. Now you're sounding slightly bizarre. The best food in town? Are you okay? Well, it depends on how you define okay. I'm okay by my standards. But mac and cheese, I mean, come on. You know, what are you looking for now? Are you taking notes?

Yeah. Are you taking notes? Yeah, you're making some good points. And you're laughing. What's so funny then? Help me to understand. I don't have anything to do with the food. So, I don't know what you're doing. I've got no idea what you're doing. What I ask you to basically. So, she does what you say. She helps me. Yeah. Chef, is this correct? I tell him to do one thing. Miss Sarah tells you what She just And She said she's a volunteer.

She tells my crew what to do and it pissed me off. I get mad, then they blame it on me. She's got no authority to do that. I know. Jeff, you've never talked to me about this. I had told you. I had told you about this. Is this true? Is this where you treat the staff? Nothing more humiliating to the team that are on the ground keeping this place open and then a stranger comes in and tells them what to do. Well, she's not a stranger. She's been coming here To them she is because she's not exactly qualified to run this place.

This is so screwed up. This is bizarre. Ain't nobody hearing me what I'm saying. And what kind of message you're sending? The menu need to be down. like this, there must be 50 items on there. Which 49 of them are defrosted out of the bloody freezer. This place is so messed up. It's a mess. A disgusting, festering Oh, you ain't seen nothing yet. Look at the mess. Why have you let it go like this?

I didn't know that they were doing things that were not that proper. No, but let listen to me, Jeff. Just stop bullshitting the guy, okay? Let's tell him the truth here, okay? I asked for some new equipment. I can't get no new equipment. Why not? I've been here for 4 years. I've been asking for new equipment. I can't work with this [__] here. Look. Look at that. What [__] pests. I've been asking for the I asked for new equipment. How long you think this shit's going to last? It ain't going to last forever.

I'm just so [__] fed up with every damn thing. I can't get no help. Me and Jill pulled you out of this. And now I ask for some help, for some equipment, and you can't spend no money, but this is working and that's working. at this [__] Look at this. 20 years and I never had this problem. We have to step up. I mean, look at the kitchen. It's atrocious. Look at this here. Would you work in this? I did. Um So funny with you. No, it's not funny, but cut off. Look at the mess. Can't do it all. You own this place. But I delegated the restaurant to them. But Karen, the bottom line is you have no idea how to run a restaurant. And all

you do now is blaming the staff you put in there. I'm just No, but they're taking the heat, and your problems aren't their problems, but they become their problems because look at the mess. Well You don't even think there's a problem. That's what worries me. Practices are so bad. That's what I tried to say. Why has it got this bad? You have to take responsibility. You're ignorant, oblivious, and delusional. I'll do what I can do. It's not good enough.

I'm going to my room. Excuse me. I've seen enough [__] for one night. Oh, man. [__] hell. I just see coming to a restaurant like this, what do you expect your burgers to be fresh or frozen? Fresh. Burgers come in frozen and we thaw them out. That's the story. Thank you. So, that is a lamb burger. Fresh. I'm getting sick to death of this denial, denial, denial. You've been making up [__] all [__] day. Yes, yes, you have. No. All your staff have the same thing to say. Passive-aggressive, condescending, inappropriate, and stubborn. No, absolutely not.

The staff? The way you treat them? What? There you go again. Denial, denial, denial. No, no, no. You're just scared about employing a team that's going to tell you the truth. That is [__] That is not Cuz you don't like them confronting you with the truth. You'll fire them. No, I haven't fired anybody. I heard that you fired your son. Oh, [__] You don't even know the [__] story. He was having some issues, Gordon, and I told him that he's going to get problem. I was aware of that. Right. I was trying to save his life.

Yeah. My brother's a drug addict. We put him in rehab seven times unsuccessfully. I don't give up on him. But what I'm more concerned about is that nothing's affecting you. It's like we're doing great. In general, the place runs quite well. Oh my god. Come with me. Just you and I. Is this a joke for you? Can you give us 2 minutes, please? No. Is this Are you [__] around? No, I'm not [__] around. Are you trying to pull the wool over of eyes? Oh, hell no. You know the business is dwindling. So, you have all these rules, no [__] samples, no [__] kids. This place is thriving with families.

We really don't want to have crying kids here. I just would like to have a quiet getaway for our honeymooners and birthdays and anniversaries. A honeymoon venture to come down a romantic dinner and eat a frozen burger? Come on. This place is hemorrhaging money. Cuz you're caught in a web, delusional, stubborn, old-fashioned, and [__] pompous. Anything else? It's just a joke for you, isn't it? No, I just Next time I'm going to know to do a little dusting. Wow, a little dusting. [__] me, how deluded.

During dinner service, I decided to do some investigating in the rooms. Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. And after what I found, I gathered the hotel guests along with Afnee and Brent. All right, guys, come through, please. Um just very quickly, glasses on. There we are. Come through. If you just stand over here, pillow left-hand side, pillow number one. Mhm. Can you see that? I can't see a dying thing. You can't see. Maybe Afnee, Yeah. explain to Brent what this is. Uh spot.

You know? Spot, you don't know? Yeah, spot. Maybe this one will be a little bit clearer. Blood. See that? Yeah, we go home. Well, that's disgusting. Right, Afnee. Yes. Brent can't see anything. I uh Go ahead. Where Well, I see that, of course. Okay. I can see that one. You see that? First of all, I just want to apologize. There's no fire. More importantly, over the last 3 hours, all I've done is a bacteria test.

NO! I WANT TO APOLOGIZE to all of you, but I want to stop right now while I try endlessly to get through to the owner who's totally oblivious. This is the owner. What I'm not going to do is just allow this lady to laugh at me, you guys to pay good money and eat. And I'm certainly not letting paying guests stay to sleep here. I'm done. My team will assist you getting your stuff out of there. Relax, there is no fire, but we are not going to continue. I want to stop right now and shut this place down.

I'm so sorry. I need you now. Thank you. When are you going to get real? When are you going to stop, close the [__] door, and take a good look at yourself in the mirror? If I say anything, it's not believed, so what's the point? What do you mean it's not believed? What is wrong with you? What I can What is wrong with you? There's nothing wrong with me. It's just after 10 years, I'm here every single day. They don't like me, and they insult me, and they disrespect me every second they work here. They steal from me. They're on their cell phones for 4 hours a day. You're disrespecting every member of staff. You're blaming everybody for what you've created. Somewhere you switched off and ignored all the problems and

took it out on the staff. Is that's what they're telling you? Yes, that's what they're telling me. Right now, I'm going to tell you something you've never heard before. You're out of your depth. I mean, who in the hell operates like this? Gordon, this is Chef Ben's job. He's the executive chef. executive chef, and you made him that executive chef, right? Sure, I did. How do you feel now? What's that? Tuna burger. That's from the burger? Yes, it is. Oh my god, seriously? Bacon.

It's gone. It's It's It's off. Fresh produce on top of old produce, moldy. And this one? Ribeye. Ribeye defrosting. What is this? Those are the smoke grilled chicken wings before they go on to the char grill. Oh my god. And what is in this one? You are kidding me. So, underneath in that bucket's what? Cooked product. Cooked chicken, and on top of it's what? It's raw. Raw chicken on top of cooked chicken. I had them for lunch.

I am at a [__] loss. Do you know the best way out of this? It's just to shut the place down. It's not an option for me. What's that in there, Ben? Those are marinated chicken wings. Yeah. Smells good. Underneath, next box. Those are smoked. Rule number [__] one. Ben. I know, Chef. I didn't do it. You know, I turn my back for a minute and this is the kind of [__] that happens. I walked in and it was bedlam.

Mhm. He's telling me this is your fault. You've got no idea. I am at a absolute [__] loss. I can't work like this. This is huge. You now are running a restaurant cross-contaminated. Joey. Yes, Chef. Who's responsible for this? Um we all are. The entire kitchen is, yeah. Rule number one, you can't put hot food in a [__] walk-in. It doesn't even go together. No. No, no. No one knew it just I guarantee you when it was put in there after I marinated it, they weren't shuffled.

I can give you 12 more issues in there that are bad. I mean, you are heading for a [__] massive disaster. I mean, who the hell put them on top of the other ones? Everybody in here knows better. Haven't you trained everybody to know that? I mean What I'm getting right now is excuses. The kitchen needs direction from the chef, the staff need direction from the owner, and your buddies. Can someone come up with a [__] solution? I'm going to go and 86 the wings. Sort it out quickly. I'm I speak for myself and I can say that I know that. And yet everybody walks around as we're doing a great job and laughing and joking as if to say, we've got something to be proud of.

I wouldn't say we're in denial. No, [__] I got told, when I checked in, Jimmy is the general manager. Can I just tell you the feeling when you walk into this place? There's no authority. There's no responsibility. And staff are just going through the motions. And if you are even going to attempt to step up to that position, you can't go home, pat yourself on the back saying you're doing a great job. You need to start implementing. Gordon, we would like this to be the starting point of that. You know, we want that. We just You know, you get a little overwhelmed and you don't know, you know, how to proceed.

The general consensus in this building is that you are generally running around 7 days a week for everybody. It's true. And tonight, I witnessed it firsthand. This is no life for any lady in the '60s. No, it isn't. Banging her head against the wall. That is not right. Can I just have 2 minutes with your mother on my own, please? Yes. I don't know if there's a real word for it, but I want it. I want I mean Can I just have 2 minutes with him? Yes.

Please. In the kitchen, get yourself a coffee and close that door. I don't [__] feel it enough. That's all. I don't get uh excited by it. She your mother Mhm. hasn't got long left at this pace. And if you've got a pair of balls, you better start [__] using them. And I want you to use them quick. I don't think you fully understand just what a gift you've got. I don't think I do, either. I feel it, but I don't fully have a grip of it. No. And whilst I am here, I want to see you commit.

Okay. And show me how hungry you are. I will. Yes, sir. And when you see something wrong Say something. [__] sort it out, like your mum's been doing. I will. Got it? Got it.
