all right what up YouTube hay here bringing you guys in the commentary I'm here to talk about the NBA trade deadline that finally ended today um today is March 15th 2012 and uh like I said the NBA trade deadline just ended and you know what I'm going to start off with the you know the biggest news that came out of today which is Dwight Howard will extend his contract he will pick up his player option and he is signed through the 2012 2013 season with the Orlando Magic honestly all this really means in my opinion is that um for sure Dwight Howard's obviously going to stay with the magic try to win a championship this year which probably isn't going to happen so you know he'll lose in the playoffs they'll get knocked

out and you know what I got a feeling that this whole season the whole trade thing is going to start up again next year so I think it was just a way for him to make sure that you know he tries to win a championship this year and if he doesn't he's going to just I think in my opinion he's probably going to ask for a trade in the middle of the off season uh he's probably going to you know try to ask for trade get something done during draft day so uh him and Darren Williams can like pair up or something but you know what whatever I hope Dwight's happy I'm I'm pretty sure these Orlando Magic fans are happy because uh you have to be you keep your Superstar for at least one more season

so we're going to have to see where that ends up another big move was Golden State sending Monte Ellis to Milwaukee in exchange for Andrew bogot and Stephen Jackson um it's a nice move for Golden State because they get Andrew bogot they also went ahead and traded Steven Jackson to San Antonio in exchange for Richard Jefferson so it's a nice move for Golden State in my opinion they get a lot I'm not sure about it being a good move for Milwaukee because I mean I don't think that makes them a contender in the East because Monte Ellis and Brandon Jennings I mean they're decent players but they're not going to really make a huge push obviously anything's possible I'm not really sure they're

going to accomplish anything obviously Monte Ellis wanted out of Golden State so they went ahead and moved them and Golden State got some decent pieces they went ahead and got Andrew bogot and now they got Richard Jefferson a true professional so those are some nice moves by Golden State and maybe it's a nice move for Milwaukee as well maybe they could make a push but I really doubt it uh another huge deal for the Los Angeles Lakers was that they finally got a point guard um they got Raymond sessions from the Cleveland Cavaliers the Lakers got Raymond sessions and Christian aena in exchange for Luke Walton and a first round pick which is top 14 protected um

in the 2012 NBA draft in my opinion I think the Lakers did a hell of a job in my opinion because they finally fixed a huge hole they had was guard play Derek fiser is not a starting point guard in the NBA anymore he's you know I'm not even sure if he's a backup anymore in a lot of teams so they got Raymond sessions he's a hell of a not a hell of a point guard but he's an average to you know maybe he's a B minus point guard and he can definitely help their point guard hole and um this is a might be underrated move for the Lakers because I think that they can finally make a push because right now the West is wide open in the Lakers with the three Allstars Gasol bham and Kobe they can go ahead

and make a push um the West is wide open like I said so they could end up in the NBA Finals who knows and another note to the Lakers deal is that the Lakers also sent Jason gono to the Cleveland Cavaliers obviously it's not a big deal Jason Capone is a benchwarmer but I just want that to be known and another deal that was done by the new Jersey Nets and Portland Trailblazers was Gerald Wallace taking his talents to New Jersey in exchange for Shawn Williams M oore and a first round pick and the pick is actually top 14 protected and I think in my opinion they're obviously trying to keep Darren Williams they want to keep Darren Williams because there's no guarantee now because Dwight Howard's

staying on Orlando for now so right now it seems like New Jersey is trying to keep Darren Williams and they in my opinion I think they have way too much for Gerald Wallace I mean Gerald Wallace obviously was an Allstar two years ago but man he's maybe a 15 and five guy I mean he's not an All-Star player anymore so I'm not really sure why he would give up you know Shawn Williams M core and a first round pick that's top 14 protected so I'm not sure about that trade it's not it's nothing it doesn't really shift the balance of power uh in New Jersey so I'm not sure if they're even going to make the playoffs it really doesn't look like it uh we'll see what ends up with Darren Williams right now it seems like

he will end up in Dallas um joining Dirk Nowitzki and um that's that so anyways another deal that was done was it's a minor deal the Raptors and the Indiana Pacers make a trade in which Leandro Barbosa takes his talents to Indiana in exchange for a second round pick it's a deal um I think it obviously makes Indiana better not sure how much better not sure if it makes him a contender so I'm not really going to go over that um the Portland Trailblazers and the Houston Rockets also made a trade in which Marcus cambi goes to Houston in exchange for Johnny Flynn hassim Tabit I'm really bad with names and Houston also sends a second round pick to Portland in exchange for Marcus cambi so

that's an interesting trade not sure that's going to work out um it's an interesting trade it looks like Portland was really involved in making a lot of deals in the trade deadline so we'll have to see how that works out I'm not really sure what to think of that trade uh it's not a big deal in my opinion it's not a huge trade in my opinion but we'll have to see how that ends up going and I'm not going to lie guys I made this video around 255 when the trade deadline was near an end and then around 3:10 um it was reported that the Lakers have traded Derek fiser in a 2012 first round pick that was um from Dallas for Jordan Hill so the Lakers got rid of Derek fiser a longtime Laker and

obviously like I said he wasn't probably he probably wasn't a backup in a lot of teams so Derek Fischer is no longer a Laker and in exchange for Derek fiser the Lakers get another good backup point guard in my opinion Jordan Hill he's a young guy he can play so uh they made a good move and um another deal that came out of nowhere consists of n going to the Wizards javel McGee going to the nuggets and Nick Young going to the Clippers um Washington will get n while javel McGee goes to nugget and Ronnie terf goes to the nuggets and Brian Cook and a second round pick will be sent um to the Wizards by the Clippers and the Clippers will get Nick Young so n ends up in Washington javelle McGee who's had

maturity problems he could be a good Center in the in uh in the future but he said this that this offseason he was looking for a huge deal so I'm not sure about him but uh javel McGee ends up going to the Nuggets n goes to the Wizards and Nick Young a hell of a pick up by the Clippers it's a steal my opinion he ends up going to the Clippers he's the I mean the Clippers have struggled ever since the All-Star break ever since Chanty Bops has been injured they've needed a two guard so Nick Young can ball dude he'll average at least 15 16 points a game for them but anyways guys the Clippers made a phenomenal move another thing that you guys might have noticed is that the Boston Celtics did

not trade any member of The Big Three they didn't trade Rondo actually they didn't trade any anybody from their big four not big three um so they're trying to make one last run I guess um it's really surprising because Danny age clearly said that he wanted to trade those guys but whatever it's pretty interesting guys but anyways guys in your opinion which team made the best move um during the trade deadline in my opinion it would have to be the Los Angeles Lakers they totally fixed their guard problem they finally have a point guard and they got a good backup too the Clippers also made a great move by adding Nick Young a scoring guard he can shoot he can score the ball um especially with

help from Chris Paul um but I think the Lakers really fixed one of their huge holes they had at point guard so it'll be fun to see obviously um the Lakers could be contenders the Clippers could definitely be contenders with Nick Young obviously they were contenders beforehand but you guys get the idea but anyways guys hope you guys enjoy this commentary let me know what you guys think about the trades again uh check me out on Twitter follow me on there but anyways guys he to here signing out
