From crispy chicken to creative flavor combinations, Starboards is known for putting their own spin on fast food favorites. Now, the fast casual spot is spicing things up more with the new menu items this fall. So, you're one of those spokespersons. Your name is Austin DS. Thanks for being with us. Tell us a little bit about um some of these menu items that we see right now and what people can expect because I'll be honest, I've never even heard of Starbird. So, absolutely. No. And for people who haven't heard of Starboard, I think what we're trying to do is, you know, we're on a mission to redefine the fast food experience. Okay. where we're really giving the guests the quality that they
deserve um but not compromising on any of the convenience. So we have stuff like uh you know crispy chicken salads that feature housemade uh dressings and also hand chopped veggies that we have you know crispy chicken that's handbredded in small batches that's also antibiotic free and never frozen. Okay. Um and right now what we have today is we have some of our new honey chili crisp items which just launched last week. Which one is that? Um the honey chili So we have our honey crunch salad here. Okay. We have our honey chili crisp chicken tenders. That's the new one. All right, let me try. Let me grab a napkin. Is there a napkin over there? We'll grab one and I'll just I'll make a fool
myself in the meantime. There you go. And then I would probably pair This is our housemade ginger ioli. Cut this off so other people can eat it as well. We have plenty. Don't worry. All right, let's see. And this is our housemade ginger ioli that's made fresh in house every day. Let me know how that is. I hate it. You hate it? No. That's so good. I love it. I'm glad. Yeah, that's really good. And then we have our honey chili crisp wings here. And then we also have our honey uh crunch wrap.
Okay. Um and then the honey chili crisp sandwich. But what we also brought you is also our Starbucks. Um so really for people who are, you know, kind of looking for an introduction to the brand, we have the Starbucks that features two I see. So it's an all-in-one. Yes. Yeah. It's like a kind of like a meal promotion. Okay. So we have our two large antibiotic free crispy chicken tenders. We have fries. We have a star sauce that's also housemade. And then we also Which one's the star sauce? This one right here. Is that the one I just tried?
No. You tried our ginger ioli. Here, I'll let you also try our star sauce and see. Okay, there you go. Yep. That's our signature. So, it's like a sweet and smoky white barbecue. Oh, that's right. Yeah. And then that meal deal promotion also comes with um our freshlymade churros, a Ghirardelli chocolate sauce, and also a beverage that's also our teas and lemonades are housemade. And all of that for $10.97. Oh, that's not bad at all. Yeah. At our three SoCal locations. I mean, you hear about people all the time talking about going to fast food restaurants. You got a family of four.
It's costing them so much money that it's cheaper to cook. Absolutely. And even there, food's expensive. Yeah. And then that's not even, you know, like I think that's at a traditional fast food where, like I said, we're trying to reimagine that experience. We're even giving more quality to the guests and they might get in another place for more expensive. And then obviously people are busy all the time. They don't want something that's going to take a long time. If somebody goes in there, places an order, how long does it take for things to be made? Uh I so I'm a customer myself of Starboard even though I work at Starboard and I can vouch and say that you know I'd say that if I place an
order usually within you know six or seven minutes it's usually up fairly fast. Yeah. So which one's the favorite? I mean the kids love the chicken tenders, right? Is that probably the most popular chips? You know so actually at Starboard our most popular item that we have is our salads. Okay. People are trying to be healthy. Yeah. So what I like is shots are making people want to eat a little less. What I like is that we have something for everybody. Like for me myself, like sometimes, like you said, I mean, even I like I'm an adult, but even I like a
chicken tender. Um, but then sometimes I'm like, you know what? Let me grab a salad. They're delicious. They have crispy chicken. You can also sub for grilled chicken or veggies. Oh, you can. I was going to ask that because I there's no grilled here. But I do like that option if you really want to be more health consscious and get that protein still able to do that. But also, I say all in moderation. So, this salad is pretty moderation. And then you got the fried chicken part to make it taste even better. Yeah. No, it's great. It's for someone who's looking with the crispy chicken for someone who's looking to be healthy yet indulgent.
