We really looking forward to MOUs that speak on a variety of topics. We talking about diplomacy, we talking about security, we talking energy, we talking about manufacturing. Manufacturing specifically, I think we are we tend to be a huge exporter and net exporter of raw materials. We have you know all the raw materials that can be used for metal fabrication. And especially in regards to the demand that is going to grow for this goods through the oil and gas industry, the hydrogen industry. And also trying to be a logistics hub for Southern Africa. There exists so much potential in regards to growing the manufacturing base and thereby also employing Namibians and thereby also
reducing our unemployment rate as well. Our relationship with China was always existing. It was always there. We've been partnering with them. This is just going bigger, better and definitely as a Namibian I can say that we should be grateful to China because there was being a lot of things whereby some other nations banned us, our people from traveling, our spike, our tax hike and don't China actually you know, they helped us a lot. You know, I think it's it's something which is really good, yeah. You know, two governments coming together, making sure that our economy, both Chinese and Namibian economies is booming. I think it's quite a great impact on the Namibian economy. We are babies in the economy and having a relations
with countries such as China, I think it's it's quite amazing. It should bring something that is very good to Namibia, especially with the economic growth that we're having now. And you know, we are getting more developed in everything. So I think it should be a good positive impact. Well, this is a very high-level engagement. Uh China is a world power. Um so, for us to be afforded this uh the space would really be great. What I really look forward to is actionable MOUs coming out of that. I would like to see real economic benefits coming through that.
Yeah, but we really excited. We know we are in capable hands with Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. I would say that their relationship with Namibia would bring quite a great impact in the Namibian economy. So, I would say that's that's a really it's a good relationship to have or it's a good thing to have a relationship with Chinese government.
