The median U.S. income is $63,000 annually, totaling $4.7 million over a career with 3% growth. Yet many retire with only $13,000, as spending consumes most earnings. This video outlines five simple steps to manage each paycheck effectively, helping you save and build wealth instead of living paycheck to paycheck.

Do This Every Time You Get Paid (5 Simple Steps). | Transcript:

The median income in the United States is $63,000 per year. This means that the average worker will earn $4.7 million over their career, assuming salaries grow by 3% each year. But if you manage your salary like most people, you will retire not with 5 million, not with 1 million, or even with 100,000, but with closer to 13,000 dollars in your account. So, where does the other $4.5 million go? Because they don't just go to taxes. They are spent a little bit with each paycheck for 45 years. That's why many people's problem is not with income, but with the ability to save it. You might say, "Oh, Justin, if I just made $1,000 more a month, it would be so much easier."

Yes, but only if you know what to do with your money first. So in this video, I'm going to break down five things you need to do with your paycheck every time you get it. So please stay with me throughout this video so you can manage your money more wisely and make sure the money you earn works for your wealth, not enriching others. Step number one, before you do anything else, I want you to audit your money. I don't care how good you are at handling money. If you can't visually see where your money is going, you'll never be able to improve your financial situation. This is a mistake I made quite recently. I'm pretty good at handling money.

I do a monthly audit of my personal finances and used to do a monthly audit of my business finances, but I stopped doing that for my company. Why? Because we started hiring more people. We started creating more products. We became so busy in business that I simply didn't have time for a monthly audit. And then I hired an operations manager, and the first thing he did was say, "Let's do an audit of the finances. Let's look at the income statements and find out what's happening with the money." And it revealed thousands, literally thousands of dollars in subscription costs each month that we weren't using. We immediately canceled them.

If you don't keep a constant audit of your money, it's so easy to do. I don't care who you are. This happened to me. It doesn't matter who you are. If you don't keep track of where your money is spent, it will be impossible for you to improve your financial situation, and this is such an easy way to find extra money without denying yourself anything. So, let me show you what to do. You can use the app if you want to spend some money on it. You can do this on a piece of paper or simply in Google Sheets or Excel. But here's how it will work. At the top, you will write down your income. This means your income.

What are your different sources of income? I have income from work. I have a business. I have a part-time job. I have income from investments. So, write down all your different sources of income right here. Then you will write down the total amount of money you earned in the last month. After that, you will write down your expenses below. Pay attention to how you treat your finances like a business. In business, we call this the Income Statement, which shows your income minus expenses. I want you to do the same here. Now that you're counting the costs, listen to me carefully. I want you to do it right. So, grab your credit card statements, your bank statements, your debit cards, because I want you to write down every penny. Where did the money go? And then I want

you to start classifying them. This will make everything much easier. And if you have ChatGPT or Claude, oh my, it will make the process much easier for you. You can simply talk to ChatGPT or Claude and they will help you sort out these expenses. So now you write down all your expenses. All your trips to restaurants. All housing expenses. All utility bills. All gas bills. All other expenses you have. Write this down. And then you will find out how much money is left. And once you know how much is left, we'll take it one step further. What did you do with the remaining money? How much money have you given to charity, if any? How much

money did you put in your savings account? How much money did you invest? You have to allocate it here, and every dollar has to have a purpose, because now you've done a real audit of your money and you have a spreadsheet to track it. So, when you have this table, First, you will find expenses you never even knew about. It's like free money, because now you can eliminate certain expenses or stop spending money on things you didn't even know you were spending. So you just made yourself some money back. The second thing you'll probably realize is, "Oh my God, I spend so much money at Benihana every Friday." Maybe I shouldn't go to Benihana so often." And now you can become a little smarter about your money, and I don't even

have to tell you anything, because once you see where your money goes, that's how you've evaluated yourself. Now you start thinking, "Oh my God, I work so hard to earn this money. What am I spending them on? Is this worth my time? » You see, the point of money is that the path to quick riches is to avoid shortcuts. Because when you try to take shortcuts, you will never achieve the desired success, you will try one shortcut after another and never reach your goal. But if you take the long road, do the hard work, you will definitely get there. And I want you to change the way you think about money, because if you're making $30 an hour, you walk into a Gucci store, you see a

gorgeous bag or a scarf, and it's " cheap"- $3,000. Oh my god, $3,000 for this ugly little scarf, I have to have it. Well, I want you to remember: the cost of this scarf is not $3,000. The cost of this scarf is 100 hours of your time. But it's actually a little more, because you have to take into account the taxes you pay on that money, because you don't get the full $30 per hour that you earn. In addition, you need to consider the sales tax that you pay on top. So, it's actually closer to 115 or 120 hours of your time to afford to buy that $3,000 scarf. I don't care if you buy Gucci or Louis Vuitton. If you like this kind of thing, please.

Just make sure they are worth your time. But to become financially successful, you have to start rewiring your brain and thinking about how you use money, and whether you can become rich, because if you don't believe you can get rich, you'll never get rich. And I tell you this because I was a guest lecturer in Detroit Public Schools. I remember this very clearly because I was talking to those high school students- smart, hard-working kids. Most of these children had jobs. But none of them believed they could succeed. I asked them, "What's your dream car?" Because I wanted to inspire them with the idea of achieving success. They were high school students, and they matched something like a

Dodge Challenger or a Ford Focus. And I said, "Why not something bigger, like a Rolls-Royce or a Bugatti?" And they replied that given themselves, their situation and circumstances, they could never become that successful. And when you put yourself in that mental frame, I guarantee you'll never break through that ceiling. So, if you want to get rich, the first thing you should do is analyze your money. You have to start changing the way you think about money. You should know that you will become rich. You must understand that money is a tool. You can use this tool to enrich yourself, or you can use it to enrich everyone else. When you go to Gucci and spend $3,000, you make Gucci rich. And when you spend that $3,000 that you do

n't have because you take it out on credit through Amex or Visa, now you're not only enriching Gucci, but also Amex and Visa. Because now you have to work every day not only to pay back the Gucci debt, but also to pay the Amex and Visa interest. And that's why I want you to understand where your money is going and realize that you need to have savings so you can become rich. Because if you spend all your money, and I understand that's hard with high inflation, but if you spend everything, you'll never have a chance to get rich. And the way wealthy people act- when I say "wealthy," I mean something very specific. I'll show you. When I say " wealthy," I mean that such people have enough assets.

They own investments that make them money every month, so they don't have to work anymore. The average person has to work because I have to work to afford the things I want. You have to work to pay the bills. You have to work to pay for housing. Wealthy people don't need to work. They only work if they want to. They own assets. These assets make them money whether they work or not. This money then covers their lifestyle. The only way to achieve this is to have the funds remaining to purchase these assets. And it starts with controlling costs right now. And you can't control or manage costs until you audit them. Once

you have done the audit, the next thing I want you to do is lay a financial foundation. When I say "lay a financial foundation, " I mean that you should first emergency. And after you save that $2,000, the next thing to do is get rid of your And it must be done in exactly this order. So, I'm talking about saving $2,000 because the average person in America right now doesn't even have $1,000 saved for an emergency. If you have an unexpected expense of $ 1,000 due to a car, air conditioner, or refrigerator breaking down, most people will statistically have to cover it with a credit card because they don't have a thousand dollars in cash. And when you constantly transfer these small expenses to a credit card, you will never have a chance to get

ahead, because you are always taking one step forward and two steps back. One step forward, two steps back. And you will always be just catching up. So to stop this, I want you to save up $2,000 as quickly as possible. And then I want you to pay off your credit card debt. This is what I call the financial danger zone. If you don't have those two things, if you don't have $2,000, if you haven't paid off your credit card debt, you 're in the financial danger zone because any small expense can break you financially. If you lose your job, lose your paycheck, it can break you financially. And you need to get out of this financial danger zone as soon as possible because you are trapped right now. And this means that now, if you are in

such a situation, no trips to restaurants. No vacations. No branded clothes and no Netflix. And you say, "John Smith, why not Netflix? It's only $15 a month." It's not about $15 a month. The average American watches more than 2 hours of TV per day. It's about the time you waste just sitting around and watching Netflix when you could be using that time to work for Uber. You could use this time to work more hours. You could use this time to learn how to make more money. You could use this time to find other ways to make money. If you are in this financial danger zone, this is exactly the time when you should not sleep so

soundly. You have to get out of this situation. And I say this so strongly because if you are in this situation, it is very easy for companies to take advantage of you and, unfortunately, defraud you. Let me show you what I mean. Let's say you could find $8,000 right now, invest it in this asset, and this asset earns you 22% per annum, and you never invest another penny. You invest that $8,000 only once and never invest another dollar again. You spend every other dollar you earn, but that money grows at 22% per year, and you do this for the next 40 years. Do you know how much that $8,000 will grow to? They won't grow to $100,000, or half a million dollars, or $1 million, or $5 million, or $10 $20 million.

They will grow to over $22 million. Now you might say that sounds pretty good. I can find that $8,000. Write me down. What should I do? Well, here's the reality. You probably won't get that 22% return. But do you want to know who will receive it? Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Discover. Want to know who pays them that 22% of the profits? You. When you have credit card debt, because the average family with such debt has about $8,000 in debt, and the average annual interest rate on it is about 22%. So if you're wondering why these companies are so rich, have huge buildings all over the world, and private jets, it's because most people work hard to make them rich by paying those interest rates. So, I want you to get out of this situation, stop

enriching them, because we have the opportunity to make ourselves rich. So if you 're in that financial danger zone, don't have $2,000, or you have credit card debt, or both-how do you get out of that zone faster? Four things. First: find ways to cut your expenses. Maybe you can sell your car and buy a cheaper one. Maybe move to a smaller apartment. Maybe just stop going to restaurants every week and start cooking at home. Find ways to spend less money. Second: cancel some subscriptions. During such an audit, you will find subscriptions that you are not using. You may have some additional subscriptions that you can cancel.

Find ways to stop spending money so you have more for yourself. Third: negotiate a reduction in bills. Every year, your utility bills, your cell phone bills -they'll all try to raise prices. And often they don't even tell you about it. Or they try, but they do it in such a way that you do n't actually hear anything. But now you can work on negotiating a reduction in those bills, because the worst they can say is "no." I like this strategy because I really don't like seeing my phone bill go up. I hate it when my internet bill gets more expensive. So here's what you need to do.

First, call them. But most importantly, be polite. Support staff are yelled at and cursed at every day. And if you are polite to them, they will likely be kind to your wallet. So you call them and be polite. And then you say: " Hi, I've been your customer for 3 years, I like your service, but I've noticed that over the years the bill has become much more expensive, and I don't know if I can continue to pay this price." Can you explain what is happening? Then they will give you some explanation and maybe immediately say, " Okay, let me see what I can do." And if not, here's what you do. " Oh, okay." Thank you for letting me know. I actually looked at your competitor and they offer a lower price. Is there anything you can do to offer a better

price? I don't want to leave, but I just can't afford the cost anymore." After that, they will start saying that they can get close to that amount, but they may not be able to surpass it. And then you say, " Okay, I really appreciate you going along with the $25 per month reduction, but I need a $40 reduction." Could you please speak to the manager or call him so I can talk to him? "I don't want to go, but if I have to, I will." And often the manager has the opportunity to lower the price a little more. Now you can do this with any bills: all your insurance companies, phone bills, utilities, internet, to try to find extra funds. You won't have to sacrifice anything, you'll just find a way to lower your bills and save money without giving up

services. The fourth thing you will do is make more money. Whether it's driving for Uber, working extra hours, taking on a part-time job, or a second job-find a way to earn more to get out of this financial danger zone faster. Because until you get out of here, you can't start getting rich, because all your extra money will be making others rich. Now the most interesting part begins. We will start systematizing your finances as soon as you get out of the financial danger zone, since you will have already audited your money and will see where it goes every month so that you do not spend money on things you do not use. And then you'll lay the foundation by building a small savings buffer of $2,000. After that, you will pay off your

credit card debt, and you will finally feel relief. Now we can talk about building a system for your money, because every wealthy person puts their dollars to work before they even hit their bank account, and that's exactly what you're going to do now. One of the simplest ways you can create is what I call the 75-15-10 rule. This rule means that for every dollar you earn from now on, 75 cents is the maximum you can spend, 15 cents is the minimum you invest, and 10 cents is the minimum you save. So, whether you make $10,000, $ 100,000, or a million dollars a year, you should always save and invest before you spend, but there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. The wrong way is when the money comes into your account and you say to yourself, "

Okay, I just made a thousand dollars." I will only spend $750 of that thousand, and invest and save the rest." The problem is that when you keep all your money in one account, it's easy to forget, make a mistake, or accidentally spend your investment money on a TV during an Amazon sale. So, instead, I want you to create three different bank accounts. Now the money will be deposited directly into your account here. You go to work, get paid, and the money is automatically credited here. Now you will set up automatic transfers, meaning 15% of this money will automatically go here, and 10% will automatically go here, to another bank account. This is how you

create barriers to your money. This way, you can clearly see, "This is my spending money. This is the maximum I can afford to spend. These are the funds I have to invest. "And this is money I save for emergencies." This way you create a system that protects you even from your own recklessness. Because I have to do the same for myself. I don't want to offend anyone, but the reality is that sometimes we are all stupid. Not long ago I was with my wife. We were walking through the streets of New York, passed a store, and there was a life-size figurine of a Dragon Ball Z character It was Vegeta, for those who love Dragon Ball Z. I adore Vegeta. And I'm like, "Oh, that looks cool." Let's go take a look. So I went into the store, looked at the figure, and it was about

$8,000. I'm like, " Oh, let me buy this." And the wife says, "Well, are you sure you want to buy this?" Where are you going to put this? I'm like: " I'll put it somewhere in my office." And she: "Well, are you sure? And everything is so different. Sometimes you need control. In that situation, my wife became the control that stopped me from making an impulsive purchase. Realistically speaking, I'll probably still buy myself a Dragon Ball Z action figure. I really just wanted something a little bigger, but I didn't buy it at the time because my wife held me back from this almost- completed impulse purchase. And I understand that. I just love Dragon Ball Z, okay? But in this case, I had money to spend. And if you don't have any extra money, your

control will be the amount of money in your account. In that case, it was my wife. But now you can have automatic control: "Do I have this money to spend or not? This is money that should be invested. This is money that should be saved. Now let's talk about savings for a minute. Your savings are not there to make you rich. Your savings are needed to protect you in the event of an emergency. Listen to this very carefully, because your savings are losing value due to inflation. So when I talk about saving money, I mean funds that will protect you if you lose your job, get sick, or something really bad happens. And in the face of such disasters, you won't want to urgently look for money. You want to have cash you can rely on. And you don't want to take your savings and

invest them in the stock market because often an economic disaster happens and you find yourself in an emergency. So, there's an economic disaster, the stock market falls 35%, and at the same time you lose your job. Now your portfolio has depreciated by 35%, and you urgently need savings. You thought you had $100,000, but you only have $65,000 on hand. That's the problem with keeping your savings in the stock market or any investment. You want them to be liquid, easily accessible, such as in a high- interest savings account. So savings should be in a savings account not to make you rich, but to protect you in case of an emergency. It is worth setting aside an amount that will last from 3 to 12 months of

life. It's a wide range because, well, personal finance is a personal matter. If you are 25 years old, have no children or a spouse, you may only have enough savings for 3 months. But if you're 45, have kids, a spouse who depends on you, and you're also taking care of your parents, you might need a 12-month "safety cushion" to feel confident knowing, " Hey, if I lose my job tomorrow, I won't panic because I have a stash of money." " We can continue living until I get back on my feet." This is why you need to have 3-12 months of savings. Once you reach this goal, you won't just keep putting money away, you'll take those funds and invest them here. So now the ratio becomes 75/25 because you have already fulfilled your savings plan. And now

your investments-this is where the fun begins. This is where your real capital will be built. You can invest this money in the stock market, in real estate, in education, or in your professional development. The idea is that you invest these funds with the aim of making even more money. I don't advise you to risk much with this money, at least most of it Spend most of it on things that have stood the test of time: stocks, real estate. These are two asset classes that have proven their ability to accumulate wealth better than anything else over the past 400 years, not counting your own business, but it's not for everyone.

Investing in stocks and real estate can be passive and is a great way to build capital over the long term. And if you want something more speculative, more interesting, like cryptocurrency, collectibles, or something like that, make that a smaller part of your investment portfolio. That's where your investment money will go. Now, for those of you who are investors, it's important to stay up to date with what's happening in the financial news. My team at Briefs Finance publishes a free daily Market Briefs newsletter, where we break down developments in the economy, real estate, stocks, cryptocurrency, and global markets in a 5- minute digest. It is very interesting to read. If you are

n't already doing this, I highly recommend starting. Hundreds of thousands of investors read Market Briefs every morning. So, if you haven't subscribed yet, the link is in the description below. There are many ways you can invest your money. I'm not going to cover all of these methods in this video. I have many videos where I talked about different investment strategies. I'll add links to some of them in the description if you'd like to learn more. And that's money you can spend. Once you have your finances in order, we move on to point number four-how to make more money. Pay attention to why I put earning more money after systematization, because the mistake that many people make is that they say: "I am in a difficult financial situation."

"I need to start making more money." And this is logical. But the problem is, if you don't know what to do with the money, when you start earning an extra $10,000 a year, your bank says, "Oh, you're more "How about trading in your Toyota Camry for a nice BMW 4 Series?" "We'd be happy to finance that for you." Or you start looking at better apartments. Or start planning your vacation in Cancun at prestigious resorts. And ultimately, what happens to a lot of people is what I'm talking about from my own experience, because I've seen it over and over again: you start making an extra $1,000 a month, but you find yourself in an even deeper financial hole than before. Because the more you earn, the higher your creditworthiness becomes. That's what

banks call it. Because if you earn more, they want to lend you more money. And as you become a more reliable borrower, your credit limits increase. People start spending more money than they have because suddenly you think that an extra $10,000 a year, or $1,000 a month, will get you out of financial trouble because you'll spend it wisely. But then you suddenly start spending even more, and even more, because now you have access to more debt, and you find yourself in an even bigger financial hole than you were in the beginning. That's why I want you to get your finances in order and then make more money; because what happens if your income increases from $50,000 to $75,000 a year?

You'll still have more money to spend, but you'll also invest and save more because you're following the 75/15/10 rule. For every dollar you earn, 75 cents is the maximum you can spend, 15 cents is the minimum you invest, and 10 cents is the minimum you save. If your income goes from $75,000 to $750,000 a year, you know what? You will still spend more money, but you will also invest and save more. There are many ways to make more money now. You can get a certificate to start a new career. You can get another education if you wish. You can just leave and find a new job if you want to. You can create a part-time job. You can start your own business. It doesn't matter. I know a lot of people are saying right now that work is bad. Well

, over time, everything changed. I had a great conversation about this with a close friend of mine, one of my first business partners. When we were young, when we were in college, most people didn't want to start a business, right? We didn't have social networks like that back then. People who wanted to start a business were a special kind of weirdo. These were true entrepreneurs who had it in their DNA: " I need to open my own business. " It just wasn't a normal thing. And now everyone feels like they should be business owners and make crazy money. First of all, starting a business is very difficult, and you have to be a little crazy, or even very crazy.

The second thing: starting a business that makes a lot of money and makes you rich is a whole other level of complexity. And now we have the impression that this is the only way to succeed. But no, that's not true. There is nothing wrong with working for hire. You have to know what is right for you. I love entrepreneurship. I love entrepreneurs. I mean, when I started my business, I wish I had more support or more like-minded people, but the reality is that most people can't and won't do that because it's so hard. Because you will be forced to sacrifice sleep, you will be forced to sacrifice your Saturdays and Sundays. In reality, you will have to earn significantly less for many years before you see any real reward. If you just got a

job, you would have less stress, earn more, work fewer hours, and have a steady paycheck, as well as probably health insurance. Plus, you get a vacation. This is much more attractive to many people. Because when you start a business, you know what? When you have a child, you don't get maternity leave because you are your own source of income. You have to work. When your parents or grandparents are sick, you don't get time off. You have to manage the business, especially in the early stages. Whereas, as an employee, you can ask for a day off. You can even get paid vacation. When you are an early- stage business owner, the concept of paid

vacation doesn't exist. Either you work and earn money, or you do n't. And it takes a lot of work to get to the point where your business can generate profit without your participation. So I'm not trying to discourage you from starting your own business. I actually like to encourage people to be entrepreneurial, but I want to make it clear: there are many ways to make more money. Not everyone should or should be a business owner. I love entrepreneurs. I love entrepreneurship. I am 100% a supporter and promoter of this. But you must understand the madness and illusions that come with it if you want to succeed. So now I want you to make more money, but the reason I want you to do that is so that can grow your capital, because the path to wealth is through

owning assets. Your assets are here. These assets could be stocks, real estate, or your own business. But you need to build a business to become rich. The idea is that you have to own assets if you want to get rich. This brings me to point five: protect your assets. As a licensed attorney who is not your attorney, I will say this: when you become more wealthy, which you will, once you reach that level, people will try to take some of it from you for themselves. And this is where you need to make sure you protect your assets by having the proper shields. The first step is to find a good accountant.

I've worked with bad accountants, I've worked with good accountants. A good accountant will cost you more up front, but they will likely save you a lot of money on taxes, which will ultimately be worth it because you now have a professional who understands tax law. Here is the reality. Taxes are constantly changing. Don't overpay taxes if you don't have to Pay what you are legally required to pay, but don't overpay. And many people, especially when they start accumulating wealth, overpay taxes. So if you can find a good accountant who can help you save money on taxes legally, find one. Number two: you need to find good lawyers. If you have a business, you need many different business lawyers, but at least find yourself a general business attorney who can

advise you on what type of legal protection you need. You will also need insurance. Maybe you need health insurance, maybe car insurance. You may want to have life insurance to protect yourself as you accumulate wealth. There are two types of life insurance. These are whole life insurance and term life insurance. I am not a fan of whole life insurance. I believe you can invest your money better. Whole life insurance is like an investment account for your protection. Term life insurance means that if you die during the term of the policy, for example, if you took it out for 20 years, your family will receive a large payout. If you

die at 21, your family will receive nothing. The reason I like it is that if you know how to invest money, you can grow your wealth and your family won't have to rely on life insurance to provide for themselves. The second reason is that term life insurance is much cheaper than whole life insurance. After all, the way life insurance works is that your money must be invested. And they're not going to give you all the profits. I mean, the insurance company has to make some money on this life insurance policy too. That's how they pay brokers. That's how they become rich themselves. So they invest the money, take some of it for themselves, and give the rest to you.

Instead, if you know how to invest, take out a term insurance policy, you are left with funds that you can invest yourself and keep all the income for yourself. But this is provided that you want to learn how to invest money. So, you may need insurance, and you should also consider hiring a probate lawyer. A probate lawyer will help you draft a will, create a trust, or other tools to protect your assets. Because the last thing you want is for the state to decide where your money goes after you die. You don't want that to happen. But the ultimate goal is that when you start building that wealth, work becomes optional. Because now you have assets. The way we build here is that you have assets that are worth enough or

generate enough cash flow so that you have enough money to live on, vacation, travel, and other things you want without worrying about money because your assets are paying for it. It's not your work that pays for it. That's what rich people think, but it all starts with understanding how to manage your salary. When I first started learning financial management, I avoided credit cards because I thought of them as something bad and evil. And then, when I realized that I knew how to spend money and wouldn't spend what I did n't have for the sake of bonuses or points, I realized that I could get more cashback and benefits just by making regular purchases with a credit card instead of a debit card. And that's why I've teamed up with my

sponsor FinanceBuzz to put together an article about some of my favorite credit cards. And now a warning. If you don't know how to manage money, don't use a credit card. But if you're confident using a credit card, in this article with my sponsor FinanceBuzz I review some of my top cards based on different levels. If you have credit card debt and want to pay it off faster, I'll tell you about the best 0% APR cards. This will give you the opportunity to repay your debt faster without accruing interest during the 0% APR period. I'm reviewing some of my favorite cashback cards so you can earn more points and cash back when you spend them on regular purchases.

I will talk about my favorite travel cards for those who travel more often and have a higher income. And then I'll also talk about some of my favorite business cards. So, if you know how to manage your money and are comfortable using a credit card, you can see my best cards right now in the free article I have prepared for you in the description. What we talked about in this video is the first thing you need to do: audit your money. You need to know what is happening with your money, where it is going, and you need to take control of it. After auditing your money, the second thing you need to do is build your financial foundation. This means you need to save $2,000 and pay off your credit card debt. This is called getting out of the financial

danger zone. This is the time when you will have to make the biggest sacrifices because you don't want to be in this danger zone any longer than necessary. Third-now you will systematize your money. Something like 75-15-10. So, every dollar you earn from now on has a purpose. Some money will always be saved and invested before you start spending it. Then you will work to earn more money to maintain this system. This way, you will have money for savings, investments, and spending. And then you will work to protect your assets. Now,

depending on your situation, this may seem very complicated or overwhelming. But, as I said a little earlier, remember: the best way to get rich quickly is not to look for shortcuts, but to choose a long and difficult one, because it is the one that will lead you to your goal, while quick paths will only give you excitement and then disappoint you. It will captivate you at first, then disappoint you, and it will push you back again and again. I call it a decade of sacrifice. It does n't sound very appealing, but in reality, decades of sacrifice- spending less, earning more, investing wildly -can take you to a whole different financial level, where you actually become wealthy, instead of just hoping to get rich through all these available fast

tracks. If this video was useful to you, the best thank you is a recommendation. So, if you can, please share this video with a friend, family member, colleague, or other investor. This way we can continue to spread this kind of financial education. Thank you. I was just in New York, and someone stopped me and said, "Jaspreet, I have $10,000 in the bank. What should I do with it? Should I put it all in the stock market now? What happens if the market crashes? Or should I gradually put this money into the stock market? Should I do something riskier that might give me a better return, like pre-IPO stocks?" This is what I'm

going to break down step by step.
