Welcome back to your Morning Calgary. A pair of brothers from smalltown Alberta are the stars of a new docu series that gives us a behindthescenes look at how their startup business transformed into a smashing success. Quite literally. Take a look. We're brothers and we own Young Parts RV Parks. It doesn't feel like a business. We're just doing that makes us all have fun. The best part is working with my family. So that's why I'm tearing up. There's no plan B. It's either this or bust. Well, who better to tell me more about Young Farts trailer parts than the Young Farts themselves, Jagger and Doss Lowski. Good morning, you two.
Good morning. Thanks for having us. Oh my gosh, just looking at that trailer, what a riot this show looks to be. Jagger, um, how would you go about describing this show? I guess for the viewers at home, this show is just about us two brothers, our family being in Alberta and trying to make something of ourselves and having a lot of fun doing it. Yeah, we uh strip trailers apart, we sell the parts, and we drink beer and just try to have as much fun as we possibly can every day. So, that's pretty much what this show is all about. It looks like so much fun and your authenticity just radiates through the screen. Uh Dawson, how did this all come together? I know you guys uh do a lot on social media, too, and get millions of
views on some of your videos. So, how did that all kind of work? We were just super young, fresh out of high school. We started this business knowing nothing and then we're like, we want to sell more RV parts. So, we started these videos, it took off. Now, we're on a Prime Video show. We're on CTV. It's just a big snowball, but it's been so much fun. Just we're on a wild ride right now. And I understand Jacob Tierney, too, uh, is the executive producer of this show. I He's known obviously Heated Rivalry was a big show he's been a part of, too. So, I mean, just how does it feel just being scouted? And it's crazy. Like, his name carries so much weight in this industry now we're attached. Like, it just seems so
surreal. I don't know. Tell me about how your family feels about being on the show. At first they like it was a big life change just having the cameras around at our day-to-day work life. But uh I think they got used to it. They're really excited and uh it's just we get to look back in 30 years as a family and go, "Oh my god, look at this memory that we all have together." So that's pretty sweet. Absolutely. I mean we saw your dad in the trailer, too, getting all emotional. So uh yeah. What's he just looks really proud of you guys.
Our mom and dad are just such proud parents or great parents. And you can tell that maybe it causes him to tear up. I was laughing at dad there. So, tell me about too. You two are going to be at Stampede tonight and tomorrow. I feel like this is where this hat gets involved, too. What's going on? Yeah, we're going to be at the Center. Uh you can come play some games. You could win this hat. It's going to be a ton of fun. We're excited to meet people, shake some hands, and that's tonight. And then tomorrow 4:30 to 6:30. So, at the Center, we're in the Center. So, come meet us and bring your 1112. There you go. Good job.
