A shocking crash caused by a man on parole. 12-year-old Mia Rossiter was killed in 2024. The man responsible, Jordan Kenyon, was today described by a judge as dangerous, reckless, and a maniac. I'm actually doing enough for my legacy in love. This footage shot 3 weeks before the fatal crash showed Kenyon clearly breaching his parole conditions. He'd been recently let out of jail for other dangerous driving and was wearing an ankle monitoring bracelet. WOO! [__] YES! HE ignored conditions banning him from driving, taking drugs, and getting behind the wheel. The court heard Kenyon met his parole officer and admitted flouting the rules. The very next day,

he lost control and slammed into the Rossiter family car on the outskirts of Geelong. The parole board knew that he'd reoffended and didn't lock him back up. So, for us now, it's well, what can we do to pursue that because, you know, had they have done their job right, Mia would still be here with us and, you know, we'd things would be a hell of a lot different. The state's parole board failed to answer questions about the case. Today, Mia's family were in court as Kenyon was jailed for 16 years. "Your driving history is simply deplorable," Judge Michael Tynan said. "You are a complete menace on the road."

Until recently, Kenyon was planning to fight the charges and deny criminal responsibility for Mia's death. Then, he changed his plea and said he was remorseful. Today, the judge questioned whether that was genuine. Mia's death was tragic and avoidable. Her family wants her to be remembered as a girl who loved art, writing, and animals. The biggest one's just a heart of gold for Mia. Whether she liked you or she didn't, she treated you the same as everyone else.
