Earlier this week, my head of investment research attended a meeting chaired by Fed Governor Barr, one of the leaders of the Federal Reserve. During that meeting, he highlighted three main points that I want to share in this video. This way, you can better understand what lies ahead for the economy, because the Federal Reserve Bank is our central bank, which sets economic policies that can affect the movement of the stock market, the dollar exchange rate, and future inflation. Three main conclusions from this meeting: first, interest rates are likely to rise in 2026 Second, the decline in inflation may not happen as quickly as
many expect. And thirdly, artificial intelligence has become a new factor in inflation Because many say that the inflation we are seeing is caused by the war in Iran, and that is true. However, the new driver is now artificial intelligence, which is surprising, because until recently the Federal Reserve claimed that AI would help lower commodity prices and combat inflation. Now we are starting to hear the opposite: the Fed is saying that AI is actually contributing more to inflation. This situation is so interesting because this week President Trump also held a meeting with the heads of AI companies: all the big names,
like Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, the CEOs of Google, Microsoft, and others. He said he wants these leaders in artificial intelligence to monitor each other. That is, the government may not create a bunch of regulations that define what AI should or should not do, and these companies should be, and I quote, morally responsible for self-regulation. So, let's figure out what's going on so you can become a smarter investor. Let me remind you, the Federal Reserve Bank is the central bank in the United States, and it has 12 voting members, 12 governors. When I say "voting members, " I mean that when the Federal Reserve makes a decision to print money, lower or raise interest rates, it has to be a majority decision. And there are a total of 12
voting members. Well, one of these members is Federal Reserve Board of Governors member Barr. He said that the surge in investment and the associated demand for artificial intelligence is already having a significant impact on prices. In essence, AI, which was supposed to improve efficiency, increase productivity, and lower prices, is actually doing the opposite. This is pushing prices up and has thrown us off course, so to speak, in terms of getting inflation back to 2%, which is the Federal Reserve's target. So the reason why this is so important is because the Federal Reserve is working in 2026 to reduce inflation.
We see inflation rising significantly, partly due to higher oil prices, partly due to money printing, but now also partly due to artificial intelligence. And there is a lot of talk about when we will see inflation decline. And the reason this inflation is a problem is not just that prices are rising, but that they are rising faster than people's incomes. So, on average, the average person is getting poorer every day because the average salary is not keeping up with inflation, and the average person's savings account is not keeping up with inflation. That's why this is a problem. Well, the Federal Reserve is now hinting that the current path of slowly raising interest rates may not bring inflation down to its 2% target in the near
future. This is not so surprising, because when inflation occurred after the pandemic, we had high inflation in 2020, 2021, and throughout 2022. At first we heard that it was temporary inflation. It turned out that it was not temporary. And then the Federal Reserve aggressively raised interest rates, but we never reached 2% inflation. Here we are in 2026, inflation has never reached 2%, which is the Federal Reserve's target, and now it's rising again. And this is where the Federal Reserve is expressing concern that if we don't take action, inflation won't come down, but even with higher interest rates expected in October, it seems, on October 28th, the Federal Reserve is due to hold its next
meeting. They are expected to raise interest rates again. Well, the Fed is now saying that because of AI, we could see consistently higher inflation for a longer period of time. So, here's what's happening with the Federal Reserve Bank. The reason this is interesting is to compare it to what is happening in the White House. Because the Federal Reserve Bank is not actually a federal institution. Its website says it is not part of the federal government. So the Federal Reserve operates separately from what happens in our White House. And at the White House this week, President Trump met with some of the most influential figures in the field of AI: the heads of Nvidia, Meta, Google, Microsoft, and Jeff Bezos. And here's what President
Trump said: "There's a belief that there should be tremendous self-regulation." This means that AI companies should regulate themselves, not the government. So, the companies that create the most powerful technologies on Earth will control themselves. And how will this happen? Through, I quote, a " morally binding agreement," a document that companies will sign, certifying that they are morally committed to protecting their users through artificial intelligence. This is not a legally, but rather a morally binding agreement. The idea is that we will exercise self-control. Some think this is a great idea because it allows AI companies to continue to grow. Others think it's a bad idea, fearing that these companies could now act solely in the interests of profit,
harming users. Why did President Trump say this? The main reason lies in China. Why China? If you listen to what President Trump and the Treasury Secretary say about China, especially in the context of AI, they say that the world superpower will become the world leader in artificial intelligence. The United States is now the world's economic superpower. And now we have a new technology, a new industrial revolution, happening right now- artificial intelligence. And one country in the world will become the new leader in this cutting-edge technology. We were leaders in the internet age. We have Amazon, Meta, Apple, and all the other big corporations. AI will create a whole new wave of revolutionary companies. And the country that controls
artificial intelligence will become the world's next superpower. So, the United States is competing with China for the title of world superpower with the help of artificial intelligence. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant says that if we lose the AI race to China, even our military won't be able to protect us. This is exactly what we are hearing from the White House. So, naturally, the White House doesn't want to slow down investment in AI. They don't want to limit the activities of these AI companies, because if we do, these companies may not grow as quickly. They may not have time to innovate, which could slow our growth compared to China.
This is very interesting because in the last few weeks we have heard the heads of Claude, ChatGPT, OpenAI and Elon Musk all state the same thing. There is a risk that artificial intelligence becomes too smart too quickly, and this could give rise to malicious actors. The idea is that our AIs can create other AI agents, and these other agents can cause harm. They can cause harm if left unchecked. That's the concern. President Trump immediately spoke out against this, effectively calling it a hoax. The only one who wants the United States to slow down the development of AI is China. So, the Federal Reserve says that artificial intelligence is driving up
commodity prices; because of this AI, because of money printing and oil prices, we, the Fed, will probably be forced to continue raising interest rates to slow the economy and inflation. President Trump says we can't lose this war on AI. And in order not to lose the war on AI, we must increase our investments in this area. We cannot slow it down and must do everything we can to become winners in the field of AI. And on the other hand, executives at the biggest AI and tech companies say they are concerned that AI is getting too smart, and if we don't regulate it properly, it could hurt our economy. And here's President Trump's response: Maybe we should change the name of AI to SI-" superintelligence." And it's worth adding that President Trump says he
wants to appoint an " AI czar" to lead the next phase of artificial intelligence development in the United States. We'll see what that means in the end, but the idea is for someone to help control everything that happens in the AI race. So why is all this important to you? Why does what the Federal Reserve says matter? Why does what the White House says matter? Why does what AI companies say matter? Because it all ultimately comes down to two things: interest rates and money printing . The Federal Reserve System is the central bank of the United States. They determine economic policy. And economic policy is a strange and vague term. It doesn't really mean anything. But in reality, this means that they can change interest
rates and influence the printing of money. These interest rates and money printing have a direct impact on you. Why? Because higher interest rates put downward pressure on asset prices. This does not mean that stock prices will necessarily fall. This means that there is downward pressure on asset prices. That's what I mean. Do you want to buy a house for $500,000? So, are mortgage or an 8% one? Higher interest rates are putting pressure on things. When mortgages are under 3%, people are much more likely to overpay and drive up house prices. When the mortgage is under 8%, people are less likely to overpay. You will see price drops more often. It's not guaranteed, but you're starting to get what I mean. Higher interest rates put downward pressure on
asset prices. These higher interest rates are also more costly for our government because they make our $40 trillion national debt more expensive, as the government now has to pay higher interest on that debt. These higher interest rates also slow the economy because when people want to buy a house, a car, use a credit card, or take out a business loan, it becomes more expensive. So, people borrow less money. If people borrow less money, it means they spend less money. If people are buying fewer homes and cars, that means realtors, car salesmen, bankers, insurance companies, and title insurance companies are making less profit. So you start to see that when people spend less money, it hurts the economy. But higher interest rates really
benefit those who hold cash. For those who hold Treasury bonds, higher interest rates mean you earn more interest. For people who have money in a high-yield savings account, higher interest rates mean you earn more interest. So, there are always winners and losers. People ask, "Are higher interest rates good or bad?" Answer: "It depends on the situation." There is always a way to win. You just have to understand how to win. And this is where I want to go back to basics and make sure you understand: how do you win? And there are two parts here. The way you create wealth -I can't recommend anything because I'm just a regular guy on YouTube. But here's how it works. The path to wealth in this economy is not about getting a job.
I don't care if you're a doctor, a CEO, a celebrity, an engineer, or a teacher- it doesn't matter. You can't become rich through hired work. And through ownership of investments. Okay. So how do you accumulate wealth through investments? I call it "ZAB". Always actively shop. Buy when markets are rising, falling or stagnant. Buy when it rains, buy when the sun shines, buy when Democrats are in the White House, buy when Republicans are. Create a system where every week, every two weeks, or every month you just buy. You can simply buy the broad market, such as the S&P 500 index. This is a great start, but only a start. For many people, this is good, but it may not be enough.
Why? Because the cost of living is rising. So market returns alone may not be enough. But this is a start. So, "ZAB"-"always actively buy"-is the foundation. This is how you build prosperity. And now the next step: how to accelerate the growth of wealth? In two ways. Method one: use market crashes. When markets fall, come in and buy more aggressively. When markets fall, most people run away and start panic selling. That's when you should come and buy. When the markets fell 20% a few years ago, in 2022, it was a great buying opportunity. This meant that you bought the stock market at a 20% discount and grew your capital much faster. When the stock market crashed in 2020, you could go in and buy it at a 35% discount. A great way to increase your wealth much
faster. Imagine if you could increase your capital by 35% simply by buying assets when they are on sale. During the 2008 crash, the stock market fell 50%. Sale. You could grow your capital much faster. During the dot-com boom in 2000, internet stocks fell 78%. Imagine if you could grow your capital much faster. Such opportunities do n't come along every day. They don't happen every week. They don't happen every month. They don't even happen every year. But when they appear, they are great opportunities to accelerate wealth growth. So, having the money to take advantage of a market crash is a great way to build wealth, but it does
n't happen every day. I call it "panic ". Panic leads to overselling, which creates opportunities, and those opportunities lead to profits. Another way to accelerate wealth growth is through what I call market shifts. Studying where the money is going. Understanding how opportunities change. If you find where the funds and investment opportunities are flowing, it will create an opportunity for you . If you see more money pouring into a new industry before it makes headlines, you can grow your fortune because you're investing where the money is going, not where it's been. The mistake many people make is that they invest in stocks that are
trending on CNBC, Reddit, ChatGPT, or wherever else. By the time this appears in the news, the main profit has already been made, so it's worth taking a step forward and doing some research. This is what true financial education is all about. It is in this kind of research that my firm, Briefs Finance, specializes. We have many tools and educational materials for investors who want to learn this. The bottom line is that you can take advantage of a market downturn or look for similar market changes to accelerate wealth growth. Barr, one of the 12 voting members, who stated that higher interest rates were likely to be expected in 2026. A reduction in inflation may not happen soon, and artificial intelligence is actually pushing it, although everyone believed that it should restrain it. This is interesting because it comes at a time when President Trump is meeting with AI company executives and urging them to accelerate investment in AI. He also said that instead of having the government regulate your actions, why don't you engage in self-regulation on moral grounds? Of course, some oppose this idea. And someone, on the contrary, is delighted with her.
Why is this so important?, President Trump wants to get ahead of China in AI so that the US remains a global leader, maintains its position as an economic superpower, and strengthens the dollar. All of this becomes very interesting when compared to what companies are saying. As Claude, ChatGPT, and Elon Musk have stated in recent weeks that AI may be developing too quickly, and if we don't slow it down, it could do more harm than good due to the risk of getting out of control. So, all of this is happening at the same time. But ultimately, as a financially literate person, you shouldn't panic or make decisions based solely on the news, but rather dig deep and understand how it creates opportunities. We talked about how the way to create
capital is ABB: always buying, owning more and market share. But if you want to accelerate wealth accumulation, you should use market downturns and market changes to your advantage. If this video was useful to you, the best thank you would be a recommendation. So please share this video with your friends, family, colleagues or other investors so we can continue to spread such financial knowledge. Thank you. Our economy is growing at the fastest pace we've seen since 2021, right after the pandemic. At least, that's what S&P Global claims, which just published a report on economic growth in the United States. They point out that the United States
is experiencing a boom and a resurgence in corporate profits.
