Truth will ultimately prevail, (crowd cheering) but there's pain bringing it to light. (crowd chanting "Tatum!") (dramatic music) (crowd cheering) (bell ringing) The following contest is a six-woman tag team match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, representing The Culling, Izzi Dame and the NXT Women's Champion, Tatum Paxley. (crowd cheering) Well, sorry, Book, I didn't have enough bass in my voice talking about the new champions. Yeah, man, you got to get deep, man.
You gotta go real deep, you feel me? But when we talk about The Culling, are we talking about the most powerful force in NXT? Shawn Spears! Shawn Spears, blame Shawn Spears, the GPS man. (upbeat music) (crowd cheering) Oh. Book, I don't know if your heart can take it. No, man, look here, I'm perplexed. I'ma say that right now. I'm perplexed with this situation. We'll talk about it, we'll talk about it, but I'm perplexed. And their tag team partner, from Miami, Florida, Lola Vice.
And the one thing we can't talk about is this woman, because she can not be in a good mood after last week. No, that's my point. I mean, Lola Vice is a hell of a talent. She's on a hell of a trajectory. And tonight, like I say, we gotta talk about it. (dramatic music) (crowd cheering) ♪ Like a thief in the night ♪ ♪ No, we won't let you in ♪ ♪ 'Cause we hold all the light ♪ ♪ And we'll blind you with it ♪ ♪ Bet I know the front lines ♪ ♪ You can't say the same ♪ ♪ So stay where you're meant to ♪
♪ We'll take over this game ♪ (energetic rock music) (crowd cheering) And their opponents, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid, and Jacy Jayne, (crowd cheering) Fatal Influence! (crowd cheering) Stand up! Stand up, man! Oh, yes, Jacy Jayne, give her flowers, man. Right now she has no gold, but look at her! She's still shining like bread pudding, baby. Oh, yes, give it up, give it up, Vic! Stand up, stand up! I haven't seen you pop up this fast since 2000. (Booker T laughing) You must have stretched before the show.
You're ready to go tonight? Lainey Reid's in the house. Lainey Reid, press the button. Ooh! Press the button, man. Well, let's talk about this, did this trio of Fatal Influence lose a lot more than just a championship if you go back to "Halloween Havoc"? Look, I can't sugarcoat it or anything like that, it was a catastrophic night at "Halloween Havoc" for Fatal Influence. Yes, it was, I can't sugarcoat it. (bell ringing) Well, the bell has sounded and we are starting off with the NXT Women's Champion, Tatum Paxley, and the woman she defeated for that title, Jacy Jayne. And I need your opinion on this at the start of this matchup.
Oh! Did Izzi need to take a step back and support her friend, not question the decisions of Tatum Paxley? As Lola Vice checks in. That's called playing devil's advocate. You don't want to tell somebody what they want to hear. You want to tell them what they need to hear, Vic. Fair. That's Izzi Dame, am I correct here? Am I correct? I mean, she's been nothing more than a friend to Tatum Paxley. As Lola vice! Oh yes! Who is just- Oh yes! Who is just lighting up.
Jacy Jayne got caught with a pump kick. And now Lola Vice far away from her team. As Jacy Jayne, just going to work right now. Kicking off tonight with this women's tag team matchup. Our women's Speed Championship tournament begins tonight as well. Who will be the next- Oh, baby! Superstar- Did you see that? To advance? Championship to be decided in two weeks at "Gold Rush" New York City. Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Oh, baby! As Lola Vice looking for a submission early on. Lainey Reid shifting weight. Derek Sanders hopping over everybody and a near fall. Let me tell you something, Lainey Reid, man, I'm just watching the body language. Just got caught right there. Lainey Reid's a real player. Trust me, she's been studying the playbook and she knows a whole lot about what's going on in the middle of this ring, man.
Izzi Dame checking in and overpowering Lainey Reid here in this moment. Oh! (Izzi thudding) Oh yes! (Lainey roaring) You see that? Beautiful quickness, timing right there by the number one draft pick. Yeah, well, the timing was off for the big clothesline. And she might want to rethink that draft status, as right now Izzi Dame going to work. A lot of power there from Izzi Dame, that's something that you just can't teach. You certainly cannot. Look, Tatum Paxley, who just checked back into the matchup, has become the best version of herself.
Booker, it's due to The Culling. I can finally admit that, I was wrong. Not just due to Culling. Cover, hook of the leg, kick out. You got to give Tatum Paxley a whole lot of credit for the work that she put in over this last 365. You got to do that, Vic. Certainly. You cannot take that away from Tatum Paxley. I cannot. I have to admit that I was wrong about Izzi's intentions. Oh! And also Shawn Spears' guidance, who you've talked about tonight, but there is no Shawn Spears.
There is no Niko Vance out here tonight. As Fatal Influence, whole new member in Lainey Reid, who you called the number one draft pick and certainly. Oh! Man, big shot there. I mean, Shawn Spears said that it's not just about him with The Culling. It's about The Culling- Oh! In a whole. And right now you gotta give him a lot of credit to put together a great team. Not friends, not buddies, not pals- Not pals, I get it. But a great team. I understand what you're saying, but there's Tatum Paxley, who reached out, made the tag. In comes Lola Vice.
Oh, educated feet right there. And Lola Vice holds a singles victory over Fallon Henley just a few weeks ago. Kick right to the lower spine, into the cover. Hook to the leg and another kick out. We talk about all the animosity between these two, how about Trick Williams? Ricky Saints final comments before next week's Last Man Standing match still to come. I can't wait. Take another look and, again, pinpoint precision from Jacy Jayne, who's here with a point to prove. Check that shot out right there! Beautiful shot! Wasn't quite the knockout blow though, Book. I thought that referee was a little late on that count right there, man. Needs to get in better shape. Let me put you on the spot, Book. Do you agree with Fatal Influence that "Halloween Havoc" was a fluke?
(crowd cheering) No, I don't believe it was a fluke. So, her loss wasn't a fluke? She lost on her own accord? No, no, it was a lot of shenanigans going on. That's just part of the business. Oh, now it's Shenanigans! That's part of the business. You got to accept that when you're part of the business, no doubt. But here we go, here comes Tatum! And the NXT Women's Champion has checked into the matchup and has turned everything around and maybe she has been refocused by Izzi Dame! Oh man! On the outside, Izzi right now playing cheerleader for her BFF. And Tatum Paxley is responding in a massive, triumphant way here tonight.

She's trying to put the ghosts of her past- Great tag!
Great tag there! Down and you're right, Jacy did tag. I was confused for a second, but Izzi also made the tag and Izzi right now. Oh, just threw Tatum out the way, but caught a Rolling Encore.
