Three minutes remain as Canelo seeks to become super middleweight champion again The defeat against Terrence Crawford, the elbow surgery and 400 days of inactivity, apparently, did not affect Canelo at all. While we look at Chris Mannix's scorecard, 107-101. And Billy needs a stroke of luck somehow, but he's not really a one-punch knockout guy, is he? No, it isn't. And that's why I mentioned Hamzah Sheeraz. He has the heaviest hands when it comes to a single punch. And Billy is a hard hitter, but he's not a power knockout artist
So, on Halloween, Billy didn't scare Canelo at all. Canelo simply took the candy from the bowl and left. And you heard Eddy Reynoso basically saying, "Don't make mistakes." "Finish the job and let's fly back to Mexico." That 's nine unanimous decisions in a row for Canelo, and let's move on to the next one. But this is what we talked about with Saul Alvarez. You know, he takes the lead early and just waits for his opponents to make mistakes or make the first move. That's a good shot by Billy. But then, why did he back down? It's now or never, my friend. And that will be the criticism for Billy in this fight. You land a good hit, you go in
through the front door, you get through the hard part of getting in, and then you don't throw anything. Canelo wants to trade. He's begging you to throw punches. Go for it. That's what you want. You want a man who will stay there. Look for Christian and Billy. Wow. The champion is afraid to defend his championship against a fighter who is goading him. Canelo provoking Yildirim. When you're looking for a knockout in the last round, the best thing your opponent can do is trade with you because you have openings. You have opportunities. And there's one for you.
There's one for Yildirim. Stay in the fire. Good body shot to Canelo. We do n't usually see this from Canelo in the final moments. He wants to trade. Here comes a right hand from Canelo. Yildirim. Yildirim is injured right now. He's hurt right now. It's still standing. A good ending to the fight, but too little, too late for the champion. Christian Yildirim, while Canelo will once again become the super middleweight world champion. Three-time super middleweight champion, Canelo is back on top.
