What up, dog? know what this is? I do. It's an Aerobie Pro ring. The item that can go the furthest with a human arm in the world, ever. You're looking at it. Gonson came up with this idea of this impossible Aerobie catch. He really wanted to make it basically as hard as possible. You've got this big intimidating like valley between you and the end point. When I was looking at the satellite imagery, I was like, is that makeable? Zero clue as to whether it's even feasible. So, we've got three here. We're surrounded by sheep, the beautiful waterfall first and foremost.
We know exactly where we want to catch it. There's two perfect little platforms over there. If this is plausible, the next step would be we put catchers over there. If we wanted just to do the longest catch, you'd go to a field or a paddock, like somewhere unremarkable. But, I think what made this so great is that it couldn't be shorter than the edge of the cliff, and it probably couldn't be longer. Let's just try a throw from here. Waterfall in the background. Three, two, one. No, no, no, no. All of that. Based off that, you would say this is not happening, but we'll give Gonson another go. This is what This is why we're doing it right now.
what we call training camp, and um we need to get busy here, boys. Whoever looks the best here will maybe just throw. There was some practice throws. Oh, you mean like on flat ground? us really threw them much or have ever done it. I mean, I wasn't even making it halfway. Is it coming out? Mm. The other day, Jack flipped a nail one. Ooh. [snorts] That could be Gorge Town. may be figured out a slightly improved technique probably thanks to you Jack. Hey, and so somehow I got the gig to throw even though I've barely thrown these things my whole life. Pop that. We're especially lucky because the guys down at Spin Master and Ruby have given us a heap of them. Yeah. That's going a long way.
So the boys are going to head over. I'm going to have a few throws see if I can get within cooee. Getting a reading on the guys. You are 222 m on the nose away and 45 m down. Look at that Derek. It's like a playing field. It's absolutely perfect. Where are the boys? Point to the boys. Way up there. I don't think you can see them on the GoPro. I think the one that makes it across will be a good color. I don't have that one. Ken confirms Stanford is absolutely wearing a freshy and it is no good. Big fella just stand for once in his life. Be a real bummer to drop it.
They're not the easiest things in the world to catch. That's where I'll be throwing from. I'll be getting a little bit of a run up. Come on Stanford. Hey yes Stanford. You want to hold that and I'll hold the GoPro. All right, here we go. Initially all I'm trying to do is just yeet them as far as possible. Three, two, one. When I'm using the word cut and draw I'm thinking about it from a golf point of view. Oh, that's cutting and that basically means sort of slicing. When I look at the waterfall from right to left. That was a bit of a poo-poo
cut. I need to double that miraculously somehow. Yeah, just double. No big deal. You can do it. cutting if you're throwing a cut, you are not getting that. You ready again, Seth? 3 2 1 30-40 m improvement. I still just got to get rid of that cut somehow. Yeah, that a boy, Sethy. THAT WAS A BIG. WOW! YEAH, THAT WAS GOOD, DUDE. looked so promising. get a straight one, we're in with a chance here. That a boy, pump him up.

ALL RIGHT, I'M GOING to aim at like the waterfall. Out there and high. It's tempting cuz they're so much lower, it's really tempting to aim at them, but I've really got to try and aim at level. And then at some point, I don't know when, I don't know how long it took, but one went right and it just never stopped.
3 2 1 Oh, snap it. That's going the other way. That's actually gone draw. Wow. Dude, that's going to go so far. Like it just held and it just kept going forever and ever. And I'm watching this thing and that probably is the longest throw anyone's done in history. Nowhere near the catcher, though. Tell you what, it's going to be a one heck of a collection effort this video. Every now and then we get comments on our videos about We want to see the cleaner. Traption number one. Put the 100 lb monofilament fishing line.
28 already recovered the other day. Already a good chunk of the way there. It is so hard to film in places like this. Near on impossible. 99 out of 100 people say, "Cool story, but you're not filming anywhere near here." We visited the shed. What's in the shed of hopes and dreams? At the Similancung Lodge, we've raided them for some wire. Like this. Some general supplies. Hooks that and some hooks that actually hold the curtains in our rooms. That's perfect. So, we go fishing line and then up to the drone.
The guys in the suit, too, welcome us in. They actually love what we do. And then they're excited for us to do something else. So, when you find someone like that, the last thing you're going to do is ruin their place with like glitter. We're going for a three-pronged attack. We've got the abseiling team. We've got drone squad. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Our drone squad, that's better. Yeah, and then we've got the human just search and rescue by hand. It's a full team effort today. Litch- I mean, it's literally search and rescue.

We're going down with the two L's, Levi and Lerole. I'll tell you the first, you know, 20, 30 throws didn't build the confidence. I don't think we really had any close. I was very doubtful we were going to make the distance. You had to hit this narrow slot where it sort of goes to the right a bit, but then it levels out and then it bobs up and down and just keeps going. It just felt like this miracle slot you had to hit.

It looks pretty scary. Sure, that is nasty. It looks like it drops away, but the boys are going. When I say our job, I'm sort of meaning Seth and Jack. Our job is to get the rings that they can't get. I don't know if you can see. There's one ring there. That one is inaccessible by foot or by the abseiling team. It's pretty much vertical. But it's quite close to the cliff wall. But we'll be able to get it. but if we do it from there, then we can all keep eyes on. Someone can spot for us. idea. Halfway down. And I can see the bottom is flipping nuts. Look at all that spray. The waterfall is pumping. Have not yet found one, but we're probably not low enough yet.

We haven't been close. Couple I think by that point have fallen a bit short, but not really got to us. One problem I didn't think we'd have is that we threw it too far. So, I think when we finally got one to go yonder and it went too far, you're like, "Oh, that's also a problem." Dang it. All right, here we go. I'm going to see if I can You can see it in the as a silhouette in the sky. That's going to go so far. Oh, that's so the kind of thing though. WOW! That went a freaking mile. Dude, did that go like to the river? This one is coming. DUDE, THAT'S SO, THAT ACTUALLY STARTED OUT as a slight draw. It corrected it back to straight and then hooked it. That was flipping insane to watch from

Getting close to the bottom. The mist is really picking up. We're literally walking down a little creek bed. Really got to be careful about rocks here. Everything is slippery and wet. It's not ideal. When you're searching an esky, this is what you got to do. do without these legends. Thank you. Appreciate gloves are soaked. What's this? No good? What is that? A carrot? No, I'm eating that. What was the distance on that? That hit like the other side of the river. No, I'm learning.
Yeah, that was the biggest throw of an aerobie I've ever seen. I'm sure we've talked about this, but you can bend these to like sort of tune them whether they fly. I think the right word would be turn or flare the back end to the right or left. Bend it down to make it essentially go more. All right, I think we might get out of here. I don't see any aerobies. that pool down the bottom to do a bunch of things. We had a go for a one challenge with the floating green. We were going to play battleship. We just have to pivot and do something else. Only issue is it's quite close to the mist. So we're going to have a little bit of mistage, but I
think if we get in and get out quickly, we'll be looking pretty good. Here comes old man drone. He's so slow. He's an old man. It's just sort of between two rocky layers in the shade. Yeah, 10 m down from the sunlight. And you're going to approach it from where I am going towards the rock wall. Oh, what a freaking shot. That's a great shot. Well done, Jack. Go wet the drones. When we got down to just a few aerobies left, I sort of had mixed emotions cuz normally when you're doing a trick shot, you think okay, we'll reset, we'll go again. We had such an enormous undertaking to collect all of these from the canyon. And I'm like that's are we going again? Like I don't None of us really talked about it. All right, here we go. Final five. Three, two, one. Nearly 2:30. Realistically, we're going to get through what we have up there and then it's going to be a retrieval.
Probably day two. I don't think we're going to get a second run at it today. Just changing uh drone batteries. Come on Jack, the value of clearing the canyon is the same, mate. You have a team of three, Jack. If this is the one everyone has to watch team of three after this video. Oh, wow. Wow, team of three is staying where it is. Come on Jack, final two. Probably a little bit grown up Scott realizes actually what we're trying to do really is tell a cool story. And I think we did that. How do you rate the success of this on a scale of one to 10?

Uh I'm looking for my crash drone at the moment, but the hurricane force rain down here is not really helping with that. peaceful from up here, but down there I'm here IN HURRICANE KATRINA. [screaming and groaning] A COUPLE OF MEMORABLE SNAGS? I SAID IF it wasn't like such high stakes, it'd be actually really fun. Yeah, like it's like the claw game. There's our 30 from down below. Yeah, well done, boys. It was a big effort from the team. Hey, well done, lads. As the remaining drones out, the waterfall settles down, they'll be able to look and find all the other ones.
this video has really wet the appetite for the canyon gap catch. Wet the whistle. This could be a temp one. I reckon we'll find another canyon somewhere in the world and we'll have a go. If you know of a canyon, get in the comments below. us make it happen. We're thinking what? At least 200 m gap? I reckon that's our goal. Ideally, like yeah, down below is accessible. Well, no, sorry, it's I was going to say we did actually break the world record for Air Hogs drones. Like I mean, you threw some that went ages. I threw one. We measured it was 428 m. And it was still going. Well, one of them that Masala found near the tree pin dropped it like close to 500 m.
