Life As A Mom | moving on, home reset, my son is five! | Transcript:

I came back from the store, and look what arrived. Thank you very much, Part of Beauty. Let's taste it. Good morning, friends. Welcome to the blog. The weather outside is simply stunning. I have to say, this month has been very busy. Birthday after birthday. It's even funny how many people in my life were born in late August or September. There are so many Virgos in my life. First it was my niece's birthday, then my son's, then my brother's birthday, and at the end of the month-the grand finale, my birthday. This matcha gives me life. I use matcha from Archives of Us. Congratulations to Nick, who generously gave me a

jar. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in downtown Los Angeles. If you're there, I highly recommend visiting. Even if you don't like matcha, you'll love their drinks. They are phenomenal, especially the one with banana. It is delicious. It is really delicious. So, before I jump into one of my new morning routines, I wanted to give you a little context. Now there will be a memory from August. I seem to be in my own yard very rarely, and I really want to change that. It's not that I don't like being outside, but to be honest, sometimes being in the yard reminds me too much of the past. And not in a pleasant nostalgic sense. It hurts a little, but it's been a few years now and I want to get this space back to create new

memories here. This is the most painful place in my yard. My garden. Or, perhaps, this is now my " cemetery" garden. But 2 years have passed, and I'm ready to go back to it and do it better than ever. The soil seems fertile. I feel determined, and now this is our garden. Honestly, it's a real pleasure to see how each plant is doing every morning. Some thrive, others survive, and some have been completely destroyed by the sun. My son loves being outside, so this activity is easy to integrate. He loves filling these little pots, which help keep the soil moist longer. This really teaches me and my son the importance of patience and the ability to wait. Be present every day, even if you don't see results. In the garden, as in the garden of one's own life, there are

many metaphors. I'm heading to a holiday dinner now. Stephanie's birthday. So, it will be at Baroo, which is a Korean restaurant. And this is not in Koreatown. We're going all the way to the Art District. Well, let's go. I arrived 10 minutes early, just in time to find parking and show you my evening look. I love plaid, and I like this asymmetrical cut. I paired it with a chocolate top, and for jewelry, I'm wearing an emerald necklace from Aurate. My earrings are also from Aurate. This bag is my most popular item of all time. I have a whole book here and, of course, all my filming equipment. If I need to get something quickly, there are two deep side pockets that I use all the time for my phone and car keys. Yes, use at your own risk, but in

two months no problems, it's holding up pretty well. Oh my God. They taste the same. They are identical, but different., not us reading the enneagram during dinner. Now it's time for my favorite part of the evening-ta-da-da-dam- my cryo mask from Shani D. As you just saw, I washed my face twice, so there's I'm going to put on my shark mask right now. There are several different settings here. It seems to do something with blue light. I haven't actually used this mode yet. This is the one Lennon loves because it just makes the mask look really cool. I prefer the. These are essentially 6-minute sessions, and as you can see, there's a red light here that's supposed to stimulate collagen production.

I'll just list all the benefits right here. You know, I'm trying to fight to keep my current face. You know, eventually I'll probably get a facelift, but I want to put it off for as long as possible. For a very, very, very long time. Today we're going on a big shopping spree because tomorrow is Lennon's birthday. Oh, we invited so many people: our family, friends, neighbors. So, the house will be full of guests. I want to make sure everything is purchased and ready. I returned home, and here it is. Come on, Prada. Thank you very much. This really made my day. I just filmed an unboxing for Instagram, so now I'm going to film another one for YouTube. Prada is moving into purple, and it really is the most beautiful

shade of lilac. They just know how to do PR properly. If you watch my channel, you know that I only use Prada Paradox. So this is their version with a sweet flavor. I just love sweet scents. Not in an overly cloyingly fruity sense, but just a mature, grown-up, chic scent. He is not too intrusive. If you're at a department store, Sephora, or Ulta, be sure to try it on and know that you're feeling a piece of me. This camera is already loaded with film and ready to go. Oh my God. Okay, I'll use it tomorrow for Lennon's birthday. So yeah, go ahead. It's going to rain on Sunday, and I'm glad I have something to do now. To everyone who loves hard work, let's go. Here we have their blush in purple.

This is a cream-powder. I applied it to my lips because it might be too difficult for my skin tone. This would look great on darker skin, but I like using this as a lip tint. Isn't that right? For autumn? And we also have their classic balm. Oh, in lilac. It's literally the same shade as everything else. I am very, very happy. Thank you, Prada. I feel like a robot. Every minute today was planned. A part of me even enjoys being I think it gives me a sense of purpose. And in the evening I can go to bed with a sense of accomplishment.

I will cook dinner now. Seven. Eight. I'm a little curious if Dad will bring anything, because sometimes parents come and bring food. Sometimes not. I said. Hello, dad. Oh, really? Oh my god, I'm making samgetan. Okay, great. Honestly, I think we'll buy the same thing. Isn't that amazing? Mm. Mm. Good morning, everyone. This.this is so hectic. Today is the day of Lennon's party, and we are all gathered here for a meeting. Christina is already here. Stephanie with her documents.

She needs two witnesses, so here we are. Adam and Mindy came too. Look how fun they are. Let me turn the camera around so you can see everything that's happening at the party. Mom, can we have an autograph? Catch. I don't know if you can see it, but there's an incredible rainbow outside the window. My God, this is just amazing. Hello everyone. Wow, it's been 2 days since Lennon's party and it's finally over. It's crazy: you spend weeks and weeks preparing, and then it all goes by so quickly. It's been a long time since my house was so full of people coming for our son. I don't know, my heart just overflows with this. I think we had a great entertainment program. First we had Steve the Clown. He showed many tricks and made

wonderful figures out of balloons, and the main act was the soap bubble master Ahmed. It was a 45-minute performance. So good, time just flew by. Our son had a great time. I am very proud of Ben and me, because co-parenting requires a lot of communication, understanding, and the ability to let go of old resentments. It seems like that's how it should be with any family member or person you've been around for a long time. And now I'm going to my brother's birthday party. I need to wrap him a gift. Here is the gift I prepared for my brother.

First I bought him a shirt for work. He is a business man, and the shirt has such a small pattern. This is my favorite kind of paper. Maybe that's why I subconsciously chose it, but I love checkered paper. Theory has great basic clothing, as does AllSaints. This is for him to wear on everyday days. It's a nice muted sage shade. Almost like gray. Maybe he'll like it, maybe he won't. But in any case, the main thing is attention. So, now let's write a little postcard.

Want to buy something at Costco? My God, Dad threw a real feast. Can we take a moment to appreciate this kimbap? It is filled with oden. There's just a huge mountain of chapcha. This is enough for an entire small country. Come on, Dad. Look at this. How incredible. Wow, 38 only comes around once, James. No, I'm 38. 39. Wait, I'm 35, so I'll add three, but I'll be 36 soon. Oh no. Happy birthday. I can't believe I got your birth date wrong.

Everything is fine. Bought this for the kids. This is great indoor entertainment because it's raining outside. Please, this is a biscuit.
