In this edition of ONE Weekly, we celebrate the inspiring journey of two-sport world champion Roman Kryklia in becoming one of the greatest strikers the world has ever seen. Welcome to ONE Weekly. On June 19th, two-sport king Roman Kryklia returns with vengeance in mind as he looks to reclaim the heavyweight kickboxing world title against Murat Aygun at the Inner Circle. Prior to his arrival in ONE, Roman Kryklia was virtually unbeatable across Europe and Asia. A master of sports in kickboxing, he added the inaugural ONE light heavyweight kickboxing world title to his accolades in November 2019.

One year after, he squared off against Murat "The Butcher" Aygun for his second title defense. Roman Kryklia IS THE ONE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT kickboxing world champion! [screaming] Inshallah. He is also coming to an end. For this match aggressive very strong Yeah. aggressive forward Give the youngest Those are the youngest with heart and soul He can not be That is the game It is a lot to control it. Aykun pressed forward, but the Ukrainian star waited for the perfect moment to strike. Michael Schiavello and Mitch Chilson with you.

Aykun's got him on the inside of this tremendous reach, and there you see it already, that long telescopic right hand of Quickliaev. Yeah, looking Quickliaev moving on the back foot already as Aykun starts to march him down. This is exactly what we saw against Anderson Silva, but he's having a hard time adjusting to the range. The right hand of Quickliaev, that punch confounding Murat Aygun. Aykun's got short arms, but tremendously powerful hands.

He's got those hooks, Michael. He just comes forward, closes that distance, and starts throwing those hooks. Look at those short-range shots. No big wind-up either, even though they come from weird angles. No wind-up, and he's got good torque in the hips, Murat Aygun. And look at the muscles. What a powerful physique on the Savage Butcher. I was talking to Aykun this week, and he told me that he's so confident in his ability to find that shot that's going to put down Quickliaev. But Quickliaev is doing a good job of moving right now, nice and tight being inside that clinch.

I am a little concerned that Quickliaev at times so far even though it's early in the fight looks to be over extending a little on that right hand it could leave him open for a counter from Murat. There was one right there as he separated from the clinch. I can hit him with that short little left hook. And really I don't know if quick wants to move into the clinch right in that range that Murat wants. Why not stay on the outside pepper the jab fire the right cross sling the legs. He told me he wants to be more aggressive. He wants to close the distance which I'm looking for that knockout finish.

The whole guys work. Igen doesn't need to close the distance to get that knockout. He doesn't because look Igen just coming right for him. Beautiful right hand lead again high knee. Igen flat footed here. Heavy kick from quick layer. The whole work STOP STEP BACK. JUSTIN Brown breaks it Let's go. Neither man has ever been knocked out in their career and I'm feeling like somebody's going to fall with these big shots they're throwing. Although I loading them up early no doubt about that.

Lot of heavyweight championship ON THE LINE. OH IGEN'S IN A BAD WAY HERE. HE'S on rubber legs. Walk to me. Want to continue walk to me. Oh he's got the cobwebs. He's in the mist he's in the fog. Quick layer could finish him. Too good too quick too long too fast too powerful too everything ticked every single box untouchable. After a pair of successful world title defenses quick layer set his sights on adding a second belt to his collection. In September 2022 he entered the first ever one heavyweight kickboxing world grand prix and squared off against karate black belt Guto Inocente.

Tonight the biggest tournament in history begins with three of the hardest hitters in the division and the best light heavyweight on the planet. Most dangerous, biggest man in the world. One punch could end it. Roman Kryklia I beat everyone in light heavyweight division. That's why I came to K-1. That's why I came for the second one. Doesn't matter how big everyone else is. Guto Inocente I was looking for this fight. I will beat Roman tonight and I will win all the Grand Prix. and Bruno Gazani [screaming] The one heavyweight kickboxing world Grand Prix starts now.

KRYKLIA CAME OUT WITH GUNS blazing in the opening round. Time. How will Guto handle the length, the height, the reach of the light heavyweight champion of the world, Roman Kryklia? Kryklia comes out slinging the hands early. Left hook upstairs there from Roman. INSIDE LEG FROM KRYKLIA. OUTSIDE LEG KICK FROM GUTO. Guto did say he wanted to go upstairs and test the chin of the Ukrainian. Powerful kicks coming from Guto right away, attacking the legs, trying to slow THAT MOVEMENT DOWN. WITH ANOTHER FIRST ROUND KNOCKOUT VICTORY, Cătălin punched his ticket to the tournament's finals, where he battled an old nemesis in Iranian star, Iraj Azizpour.

Only one will survive. For the first time ever. FOR THE HIGHEST LEVEL HEAVYWEIGHT KICKBOXERS ON THE PLANET, the heavyweight kickboxing world Grand Prix. The biggest world Grand Prix in ONE history has reached its finale. Unorthodox, explosive, absolutely no doubt about it. Iraj Azizpour advances to the final. Roman Kryklia is just spectacular.

Guto Inocente IS HURT. IT'S OVER. ROMAN KRYKLIA ANNIHILATES Guto Inocente. Advances to the final to take on the last man to beat him, Iraj Azizpour. It all comes down to one massive battle. Two giants, the heavyweight world Grand Prix, THAT HAPPENS TONIGHT. IRAJ AZIZPOUR. It's excitement personified. So much fun to watch. The tower of power, Roman Kryklia. The light heavyweight kickboxing world champion. Arguably the best pound-for-pound kickboxer in the world.

Kryklia just too good. HE IS JUST TOO I was waiting for this. I'm ready. Heavyweight division, I want to have two belts. Roman Kryklia Iraj Azizpour the heavyweight kickboxing world Grand Prix championship. Azizpour lured his opponent in the range where he caught Kryklia with a strong punch for the knockdown. debilitating him. HIGH KICK FROM AZIZPOUR AND THE BODY SHOT. ROMAN'S GOING TO MOVE. ROMAN'S BEEN TAGGED. BODY SHOT, OVERHAND RIGHT. HERE COMES IRAJ. HERE COMES THE BATTERING RAM AND KRYKLIA'S GOING TO GET OUT OF THERE.

OH, HE CAUGHT HIM BEHIND THE HEAD. HIM. HE'S DROPPED HIM. THE Ukrainian star survived and grew even more dangerous toward the end of round one. In the second round, Kryklia marched forward and tried to complete his epic comeback. Kryklia needs to recover, recover fast, regain his composure, and start working behind the jab. Where were the hands in the first round from Roman Kryklia? He came out with all legs. HE'S GOT TO START BOXING AZIZPOUR HERE. And there's the jab. Jab two. High kick from Azizpour. Overhand right. ROMAN TOUCHES THE CHIN. ROMAN GOES TO THE BODY. ROMAN GOES THE ROUND KICK.

A CATCH AND SWEEP THERE FROM MURAD. NOT PERMITTED UNDER THESE KICKBOXING RULES. Stern words from Elias Dlapas. Roman's having early success, but he's got to be careful of that right hand. He's got to stick that left hand on his chin and not let it go anywhere. It's not the usual FLUENCY OF THE HANDS WE EXPECT from Roman Kryklia. Kryklia edging forward inside thigh kick to that femoral profunda. Snaps out the jab. Where's the right hand? Overhand right there from Murad. There's the right HAND FROM ROMAN. THAT was a stinging right hand. BUT HE'S DROPPING HIS LEFT. HE'S GOT TO

BE CAREFUL DROPPING HIS LEFT HAND. OVERHAND RIGHT FROM KRYKLIA. HERE WE GO TOE-TO-TOE. LEFT HAND. [screaming] OH, HE'S ROCKED. HE'S GOING TO MURAD IS DOWN. THE COUNT'S ON. HE MAY NOT MAKE IT. HE GETS UP. OH. OH, HE MAY GO AGAIN. OH, ROMAN'S FEELING IT. KRYKLIA JUMPS ON HIM. IT'S OVER. IT'S STILL THE CHAMP. Roman Kryklia conquered new challenges to win more gold. In 2025, Roman Kryklia entered history books by becoming the inaugural heavyweight kickboxing world champion. He lost the title to Tarik Allakhverdi. But on June 19th at the Inner Circle, the colossal rivals will square off in a heated rematch.

Back in December 2023, Kryklia earned the to make more history. He squared off against WBC heavyweight Muay Thai champion Alex Roberts for the chance to claim the first ever one heavyweight Muay Thai gold. So many of us have anticipated this moment for so long. The tower of power has not been touched by anyone. So who will take home the belt here tonight in this clash of absolute titans? When I was first contacted to fight for the inaugural Muay Thai heavyweight world title, I was in a state of disbelief. To receive that opportunity was a dream come true. The light heavyweight world champion becomes the heavyweight kickboxing world Grand Prix champion.

I'm champion in two weight divisions in kickboxing, but I don't want to stop. Now I have a new challenge. I want to be world champion in Muay Thai. I started from Muay Thai and this was my dream from the beginning of my career. I will be very honored to have this title. Muay Thai is my base in striking. I don't care what people think that I have not so many fights in Muay Thai, but I know that this is a big part of my life, big part of my training process.

Muay Thai is my turf, so it will give me the advantage because I've been fighting Muay Thai my entire career. I always prepare for all five rounds, but I don't like to wait in the ring. I like to be very aggressive. Roman being very aggressive as he is can also be a weakness as you can overextend and put yourself in positions to be counted and to be hit as well. And the biggest surprise will be my speed. No one will ever predict how I will finish the fight. And the plan is to go out there and put Roman away because it's never been done before. You put me in those small gloves and I go out there and land my shots, then we'll be having a short night.

This victory will be very special for me because it will be my first title in Muay Thai. To become the very first heavyweight Muay Thai champion in ONE Championship will propel my life up to new heights. To come from no martial arts and no family background to now being on top of the world, I hope that I can now be an inspiration to other people to follow their dreams and it's not too late. To be a champion in two sports and two divisions is the dream of every fighter. I want to prove the world that I can be champion not only in kickboxing, but in Muay Thai. Krykliia drew first blood as he dropped Roberts in the opening round.

You're watching ONE Champ, the greatest world championship strikers on the planet. We are underway. Immediately Roberts enters into the clinch tying up Krykliia, who's going to have to rely on that speed and footwork. And he's got Chingiz Allazov in his corner, the featherweight kickboxing champion, so you know speed is going to be on the side of Krykliia. BIG RIGHT HAND DOWN! ROBERTS! THREE! JUST LIKE THAT. ROMAN Krykliia finds a button and sits down Alex Roberts. Krykliia, dangerous package inside these little gloves, Ray.

Well, he said that, you know, he enjoys and he feels he can put away his adversary with a singular blow. And he put Roberts down momentarily. I've talked to so many of Kricklia's opponents and they're just so surprised at his blinding speed and his reach. He just seems to extend like he's some sort of Marvel super villain. Krickly on 5 and 0 and 1 championship with four knockouts. He has a knockout percentage in his career of 55%. Now coming up on the midway point of the first.

Oh, big they're running the shots. Roberts trying to utilize that lead leg roundhouse kick. He's got that chin high up in the air, Ray. He's got to be careful. Tuck that chin in. You do not want to leave your chin that high in the air against Roman Kricklia. Kricklia is so technically brilliant, Mitch. Krickly is looking very loose. Ducks inside to the clinch. I mean, just to see how Krickly handles himself inside the clinch, especially when you add in the elbows. Krickly has been out of the Muay Thai game for a little while now. He was excited to be able to throw those elbows. Seeing that Krickly is so relaxed in there.

Roberts still trying to find his opening. Roberts staying true to that Aussie rules football style of blitzing his opponent, trying to overpower him. He runs right into a beautiful roundhouse kick there thrown by Krickly who sticks out the jab. Under 30 seconds remaining in the first round. There's a right hand there by Roberts. Roberts, you think he'd be a little bit gun-shy because of that early knockdown, but he's continuing to push forward. There's an elbow there by Roberts. Kryklya looked a little bit wobbly there, but he's tying up Roberts inside that clinch to regain his senses.

10 seconds left were sounded. First round looks like it could come to an end. We head towards the second. Boy, the action heating up here at the end of the first. Both men maintained a close distance for intense back-and-forth action in round two. Can Roberts build on that, or can Kryklya swing the momentum back in his favor? Round number two, this one's scheduled for five. It's a little confidence builder for Roberts at the end of that first round to wobble Kryklya with a back elbow. That's the type of power that Roberts possesses. You put him inside these little gloves, and

he's a WEAPON OF MASS ROBERTS! AND THIS ONE'S OVER! HE'S A TWO-SPORT WORLD CHAMPION! IT IS ROMAN KRYKLYA! ROMAN KRYKLYA claimed the first-ever One Heavyweight Muay Thai world championship. In April 2025, he welcomed his first challenger in the form of three-time WBC champion Lyndon Knowles. Roman Kryklya is AN ABSOLUTE MONSTER. OH MY GOODNESS, [screaming] THAT IS OVER! KRYKLYA DROPS ON HIM! OH, ROBERTS FEELING OH, HE'S DROPPED HIM! ROBERTS THE HEAD BACK AGAIN. HIGHER YOU ARE, BIGGER RESPONSIBILITY.

I'm on the beginning of my journey to perfection. Roman Kryklya defending his heavyweight Muay Thai belt against the WBC champion Lyndon Knowles. This is the time I will prove that I'm the best in the world. Lyndon's had 98 fights. He's been fighting for 20 years. Inside the ring is an absolute machine when he gets in there and gets his world title. I know that Lyndon knows training with Jonathan Haggerty. Good for him to train with such a big name. To be part of the Nasty Academy team, I always have to be the best version I can be. Like Jonathan, we're all about having fun and just working hard.

British have got lots of talent on ONE Championship and I'm very honored to now be in the mix of that. It's definitely duty bound to put on the best I can do. He's a weapon OF MASS DESTRUCTION. LYNDON IS RAPID AND THIS ONE'S OVER. HE'S A TWO-SPORT WORLD CHAMPION. IT IS ROMAN KRYKLIA. IT WAS first time in my life to get the Muay Thai belt. It was very big moment in my life. Roman is very fluid and he has knocked everyone out. But in nearly 100 fights, I've only been defeated once and I've got a great Muay Thai IQ. I've got

the remedy. I've got the heart. I've got the attributes to stop him. This classic Muay Thai fighter is very experienced. He like the pressure and low kicks. But I have a speed and will help me to deliver my punches. Try prepare for everything. This fight, you will see my new skills especially in Muay Thai. The pressure's on both of us. We both want to prove that we're the best in the division. My biggest goal is to be famous in Muay Thai and kickboxing world. How I want the world to see me after my fight is the new ONE Heavyweight Champion. To have ONE Championship belt means dreams come true.

I will not stop. I will do everything to get more belts in ONE Championship. Roman Kryklia showcased his dominant form in the opening round. Now in the second half of round one, beautiful left hook to the body by Kryklia. And a right hand that wobbled Noe. That one stung him right down the middle. AND NOE DOWN GOES NOE. ROMAN KRYKLIA looking for the finish. Big high kick, a left hook upstairs by Kryklia. Kryklia in seeking AND DESTROY MODE. DOWN GOES NOE. DOWN SO JUST ONE KNOCKDOWN thus far and Kryklia going right back ON THE ATTACK. AND DOWN GOES NOE AND IT IS OVER.

ROMAN KRYKLIA HAS KNOCKED OUT LINDEN NOE. KRYKLIA remained unstoppable and won until he lost the heavyweight kickboxing world championship against Tarik Oktay in November 2025.
